  • Ok i guess no one care about good ol' RP anymore seeing the last comment was a month ago. We still need to rally behind the ideals that he set forth however. I don't care where your from, or what color you are, either does RP unless your watching FOX or NBC... Please stand up and fight if needed, the time is comming and we need to unite, mex, white, black, fracken green, fight!

  • We still care.

  • Driving home yesterday, listening to PBS News about Student Protest in Turkey because of corrupt Goverment. Asked Why Students in the USA were not "Speaking Out" & "Standing UP" to make sure that Corruption from the Departing BUSH ADMIN is kept in check & that OBAMA Does What He SAYS! The Answer was: "They are TOO BUSY on their WIFI or computer Games to bother"!

Will "My Generation" have to doan Tye-Dyes after 40 Yrs and Do This For You? GET UP OFF Your LAZY ASS & GET Your SHIT TOGETHER! MOVE!

  • why dont we elect him instead of socialist control freak gun grabbing universalizing healthcare sonofabitch obama!

  • He wasn't in congrss in 1964, but he was against the CRA. Only because he didn't like the specifics of it. He has voted no on bills he likes, just because they weren't perfect.

  • You're a fucking idiot. Do some research before you spout off your blind hatred.

He obviously didn't want to deny minorities anything, and anyone that knows anything about him knows that. The Civil Rights Act allows the government to legislate morality on its people and force the private sector to hire people based on race/sex/religion etc. Not saying it didn't do any good, but in principle you can't tell a free society who they can and cannot hire and serve.

  • Also - can you please explain Paul's repulsive racist positions? You know like his opposition to the Civil Rights Act of 1964, his opposition to renewing the Voting Rights Act or his contention that Lincoln started the Civil War?

How about defending his position that States should have the right to criminalize sodomy and other sexual practices between consenting adults that they don't like?

    Or his opposition to abortion?

All of his rhetoric about "liberty" is less than empty.

  • No one is perfect, its certainly not a quality we want in a president.. I'll give you that. On the other hand, I can see why he would oppose such a bill. People knew that African Americans would be treated terribly in schools where there were 10 white kids to every 1 black. Open a real history book and read up on the civil war.. slavery was already on it's way to being abolished in the south. Lincoln provoked citizens that were aware of tyranny and fought it viciously.

  • librarianeric, again, you're an idiot. Opposing legislation that forces a supposedly free people to hire/serve people they don't want to makes you a racist? When did he say Lincoln started the Civil War? Constitutionally, states should have the right to do things that the federal government has no business getting involved in.

You're joking about abortion right? How does murdering babies in the most careless and brutal fashion translate to the right to life and liberty?

  • That there is a good man, When I was Fox Brainwashed I thought he was crazy and the war was just, It wasn't until my awakening ( In many ways ) did I realize whats really going on.

Look at my page for things that opened my eyes my friends feel free to ask questions

  • Who called Paul a "liberal"? I called him a right wing libertarian and a proponent of tyranny by the business class.

As important as the Constitution and Declaration of Independence are, they are the products of human beings, who, despite their wisdom, were not beyond reproach. Even the Founding Fathers recognized this. Again, that's why the Constitution is called a "living document." To be a "strict Constitutionalist" is to disparage the intent of the Founding Fathers.

  • The constitution was written in hopes of preventing large governemnt from exploiting the population again. You can debate the meaning of it all you want.

Sure, SOME things needed to be changed. But those inalienable rights I've been talking about constantly were not meant to be questioned.. why keep dancing around the point?

Ron Paul aims to ensure those rights are respected, and if not... his carelessness in rallying people to this cause is going to blow up in his face.

  • Actually, its not me that debates the meaning of the Constitution ... that's the role of the Supreme Court.

And you have yet to answer any of my criticisms regarding right wing libertarian philosophy. Please explain how the elimination of worker and consumer laws does anything but consolidate power in the hands of fewer and fewer (and wealthier and more politically powerful) individuals and institutions.

And while you're at it, maybe you can tell me why national parks should be privatized?

  • It just looks to me like you misunderstand what their philosophies are. In politics we do our best to catogorize policies and ideals into larger groups, ignoring the individuals themselves. I believe I've said this before on another video.. at the end of the 19th century almost 90 percent of Americans were self employed. Why don't you look up what that percentage is today. Uneccesary laws only bind the common man further and slowly push him into poverty.

  • And on privatizing national parks.. I was not aware that Paul supported anything like that. In fact, the UN already has done this in the Grand Canyon. Thank you for reminding me of that.

  • I would submit that a person like Paul, who advocates the elimination of all labor laws, discrimination laws, etc. is not a proponent of freedom for anyone but himself and his allies. In essence, he advocates a tyranny of the business class.

How much do right wing libertarians REALLY care about freedom? Milton Friedman's support of Augusto Pinochet is instructive. Pinochet was violently wiping out opposition to his regime, but Friedman was more than happy to help him restructure his economy.

  • Where on earth do you get this information?!

As long as we follow the guidlines written in the constitution and our Declaration of Independence there should be no problem at all. Its people who desire everything to be handed to them that are the problem, its people who want to be coddled from the womb to the grave that are ruining this country.

Please tell me what these nasty "liberals" like Paul will do once they guarentee my right to free speech! I'm scared now!

  • Ron Paul is NOT a revolutionary ... he's a right-wing reactionary who would divest working class people of all rights and legal protections.

"Democrats are a bunch of fascists and socialists ..." Jesus Christ, how delusional are you people?

How about, just for once, putting forth original ideas, instead of just repeating empty rhetoric about "smaller government" and "freedom"?

Ron Paul is not about freedom ... he's about consolidating power in the hands of fewer and fewer people. Wake up.

  • Wow, it would appear that you're the delusional one. Have you ever even looked at the Constitution? Do you know anything about the history of the United States? Its not empty rhetoric at all, its a message our founding fathers died for. And a damn good one! But I suppose you think they were insane as well.

Some people like their children dying in unjust wars, some people enjoy being spied on, some people like having no rights. I'm not one of them! Get used to it.

  • Ron Paul is not a revolutionary, you're right. He is a man who sees this country heading down the crapper and wants to inform the American public about it. We've all become so attached to that paycheck of ours, the next episode of our favorite TV show, whether or not we'll be able to ensure the comfortable lifestyle we enjoy so much, that we've lost touch with what it REALLY means to be Americans.

Think of your children at least before you sell their rights to the highest bidder.

  • Uh huh. So you and Paul have a monopoly on opposition to the war? And without Paul, no one would know the country is headed down the crapper? Right.

The founding fathers, for all their wisdom, weren't divine. They had myriad shortcomings, but people like you and Paul refuse to hold them to account because you're too busy lionizing them.

So enlighten me - what does it "REALLY" mean to be an American? Specifically, what are our responsibilities, if any, to ourselves and others?

  • Actually, no. There are plenty of people who, including myself, thought about this sort of thing long before Paul gained his new cult-like following. He is simply the only candidate with my interests at heart.

I believe in their ideas and what they wrote down in a way that could not be misinterpreted. It really is that simple. Being an American certainly doesn't mean turning a blind eye while the god given rights of your fellow citizens are violated.

  • You decide to focus on one man rather than taking a look at the big picture. People don't think the way they do just because Ron Paul tells them to, he only serves as a motivational speaker. He gives people hope, thats all.

What candidate do you support? McCain? The man who virtually guarentees more terrorist attacks on American soil. Obama? Yet another person who believes guns are more dangerous rather than homocidal criminals.

  • "Misinterpreted"? That's why they call the Constitution a "living document" - it was meant to be changed and reinterpreted as time goes on. If we only interpreted it as originally written, women and minorities wouldn't have the vote.

I think I understand the "big picture" - right wing libertarians don't want to hold their allies and heroes to the same account they hold their adversaries. You subscribe to a self-serving definition of freedom that exploits rather than liberates. Be honest.

  • We love this guy in Australia, if you don't want him we do, our politicians are shit heads, both parties are all the same, self serving puppet grubs of the NWO, go hard Ron Paul the world needs you man.

  • I'm from Flanders (in the dumb federation of Belgium). Here we have NOT heard about Ron Paul one word. Even here in Europe they hide his speeches from us. Inexplicable. Well, that's what they do with constitutionalists : they hide them and if they fail, they will ultimately kill them. As usual - always the same story with those imperialists pigs. I would vote Ron Paul; as a matter of fact I think most of Flemish conservatives would vote Ron Paul. I support your revolution! The world needs it!

  • Ron Paul is the only innocent looking president.

  • youtube(dot)com/watch?v=LfAgcXmUZFY

Y PEOPLE SHOULD NOT SING THE BLUES

  • I think it's clear that we have to get the doctor in office using deadly force

  • RON PAUL IS MY PRESIDENT,

     right now.

    Go RON PAUL

  • The Revolution is alive and well, and gaining strength. Freedom is popular

  • I had Ron Paul stickers on my bedroom window of my Apartment and the apartment complex people made me take it down. They wouldnt even say why, they just told me I had to take them down. What kind of bullshit is that?

  • That is complete BS. Put them back up and if they tell you that crap again you tell them you have freedom of speech...draw some local media attention to it if you have to. Get someone to record them telling you to take it down...people will back you up

  • Ron Paul yard signs stand all over our area where others have fallen. He's like a super granpa.

  • I'm never taking my Ron Paul magnets off my car!

  • talking him up every day

  • More & more ppl are moving to Ron Paul.

He got around 20% in Pennsylania in this last primary.

I don't really think McSame can make it physically and mentally until November.

There is still hope. There is still RON PAUL.

  • yea, right.

  • Ron Paul: the only candidate that's read the Constitution.

  • @cdalelefty He lives by it, and with it; he has several: One on the coffee table, one near the toilet, one on his night table, one in the car, one in his pocket, one in his safe, one under his mattress....

  • i was trying to decide who votes for anyone besides RON PAUL and it just suddenly hit me . the Adolph Hitlers , Sadam Hussens, and others. RON PAUL 2008!!

  • What a cogently formulated argument, pajeff2. Actually, you sound like a dumb, lower middle class, miltary or law enforcement type who never went to college.

  • Sorry, upper class PhD holder

  • This video is just too short, thanks anyway.

  • Ron Paul doesn't lie so there's nothing to catch.

What I'd like to know is why the people through congress have not had success at impeaching Cheney. Why is the house speaker and the supreme court obstructing justice? We are bill 1955 and martial law away from a fascist dictatorship. I think the people of the US - those that GOVERN THE GOVERNMENT need to march on the white house and arrest those in congress, the supreme court and the pres and vice pres for high crimes against the constitution.

  • Ron Paul is the only hope for America, to save our economy, to get rid of the IRS, to stop policing the world, to stop the insane spending, and to restore the constitution.

  • ron paul makes sense
