The band started in 2002 and then their fan base started grow after that. Listen I'm sorry this commotion is going on. Do you have an AIM screename? The reason why I'm asking is because I can only talk to other 2 other people about Tally Hall.
I know they started in 2002 but they released their first album "Complete Demos" in 2004. Yeah, my screen-name is my username too YouTube - try that, but if it doesn't work then please let me know.
Good Day (Andrew) Greener (Rob) Welcome to Tally Hall (Rob/Joe/Zubin) Taken for a Ride (Andrew) The Bidding (Joe) Be Born (Rob) Banana Man (Joe) Just Apathy (Rob) Spring and a Storm (Joe) Two Wuv (Andrew) Haiku (Rob) The Whole World and You (Andrew) Ruler of Everything (Joe)
Please allow me to repeat what I just wrote on a video of mine - not to you, Ludlowyanis, but also for everyone else reading this - just so there's no misunderstandings......
Those names next to the track listing on the album(s) indicate which Tally WROTE the song, not who SUNG it. It is often that the same person who wrote the song is the lead singer of it, but not always.
And Zubin does sing the lead parts in a number of songs.
Yeah, well that's what Zubin sings - covers, Zubin also sings in a cover of The Killers' "Smile Like You Mean It". I know Zubin sings in "Ruler Of Everything" but what he does is called Backing Vocal (which you don't really call singing) but if you want to call it that then it's up too you mate.
I found out about them 'cause I have a family member which works at a Radio Station, he found "Tally Hall" as a new band in 2004 which he asked me too check out - I really liked them, but he thinks they sound too much like "The Beatles"
Same here mate, I do that iswell.
Wow! Sounds cool mate ;)
I'm sorry about all those past messages mate, now lets just get on and not argue about our favourite band "Tally Hall". Let's just accept what we know about "Tally Hall"
Yeah I agree, Zubin is my favourite Tally Hall band member. On Tally Hall's album "Marvin's Marvelous Machical Museum" Zubin only sings in "Welcome to Tally Hall" but with Joe and Rob. That's the first video where I've seen Zubin without his bass.
That's alright mate, I wasn't saying Zubin was your favourite - I was just saying I agree that he's a good singer. I thought it was Joe that sings "Ruler Of Everything" but doesn't matter.
I know Ross didn't play the drums in this song but think about it - it would be hard to sing if you're playing the drums, whether Ross sings or not he's still a great musician.
Joe wears glasses?!
I never knew!

Here is some tally hall info: if listen closely to ruler of everything you can hear Zubin singing the high parts and Joe is singing the low parts.
