ITP Mud Lite XL ATV Tires

i have mud lites on my 350 rancher awd these tires are great i have only been stuck once since getting these tires they are great for sure only thing is once on pavement they are loud and pull hard to the right that is the only bad thing i can say about them so seeing as quads are used in the woods i say they are great and as far as snow riding besides the cold you wouldnt even know ur in snow

What tire would you recommend for a 4x4 rancher 350. I ride in the mud, but dont wont to heavy of a tire.... and I have a 2in. lift kit on it.

@bcp724life I would recommend the Maxxis Zilla or the ITP Mud Lites in a 26" or 27". Both are lightweight and great in the mud.

is it true that the mudlite tire now uses the same rubber compound as the 589s? does this mean that the mudlites will last as long as the 589s now?

@the11recon250 Yes the bearclaws do fine but if I had to pick between the two I would choose the mud lite for what you are wanting to use them for.

does the tread depth of the tires even matter? because the bearclaw tread depth for 22x12-9 is four fifths of an inch, and for the mud lite for 22x11-9 is nine sixteenths.

@the11recon250 The tread depth is about the same. When i said more aggressive i meant the tread design is more of an aggressive design that does better in mud.

hey i have an 05 yamaha bruin 350 and the stock tire size are 25"s. im planing on getting a set of these tires for it and i was wondering if i could go with the new 26" sizes they make now. the 26-9-12(front) and the 26-12-12(rear). Thanks. 0014CooterBrown

@0014CooterBrown Yes you can, if your ATV comes stock with 25" you shouldn't have a problem going up to the 26"

@wwwpureoffroadcom I have a Yamaha 350 grizzly with straight rear axle and a 2in lift kit. My stock tire are 25". I ordered the 27" black mambas from you guys. Will that work for my bike or did I order the wrong ones? The only sizes I saw were 27" or bigger than that. Tires looked so awesome. I just couldn't resist!

@miii42385 The 27" black mambas should fit if you have the lift kit but you will for sure need some wheel spacers or wide offset rims on front in order for them to clear.

@wwwpureoffroadcom i recently brought a new honda foreman 500 and i was wondering since i like to mud ride and i ride with some bigger quads with irs and silverbacks, outlaws, etc., which tire would be a better fit for me some itp mudlite xl's or the itp xtr's. please reply i plan to order them soon

@collegehillboy55 The Mud Lite XL is a lot cheaper and slightly more aggressive, the XTR's ride better being a radial and still do well off-road. I guess it just depends on which is more important to you, ride quality or mudding capability. Also it depends on how much you are willing to spend.

Hi, I have a 2008 Honda rubicon 500. They come stock witht the 25" tires// I was Wondering If I got 26" itp Mudlite for it. .Would I have enough Room to put them own without rubbing? Either on the front or the back? Thanks.. Cocacolaman95

Same tires I run on my 1983 Honda 185s three wheeler. They are everything they claim to be. Light with excellant traction capabilities. They also ride decent for a aggressive mud tire with good stability. They are tough, I haven`t had a flat yet. The rubber compound seems to be medium as they don`t wear fast, but they don`t wear slow either. I`ve seen them claw there way out of some nasty mud holes that made victim of other mud tires. At high RPM these tires sling king sized glops of mud.

Yelp. I swear by em' too! Best ATV tire I've ever owned and I've been through lots of different kinds of brands of mud tires. I ALWAYS keep coming back to the ITP Mudlite XL.

worst tire ever!!! we got a set of 25" for our kodiak we get random flats all the time... dont even ride that bike they suck on trails... i had a set of 26" XLs i babied these tires and the lugs starting ripping off from the sides... and wearing so fast they sucked on the trails were OFFAL in mud.. i dont get why there called a "mudlite" they suck in mud and water, i hate ITP tires 2 sets and both were jokes and waste of money

These are the WORST tires ever. Make sure you have an air compressor around because they will not hold air for more than a few weeks. They are rough riding and out of round and out of balance. 6 ply "rating" means less than 6 plys. The tread wears out fast & leaves you with tires that skate all over. Crap Crap Total Crap don't waste your money.

@yamaha4Llfe Yep, between 3 sets bought 1 year apart, each set ran about 3 rides before patchs & tubes were needed. Honda Rubicon 500, Yamaha 400 Kodiak & Kawasaki 700. Easy riders, rookie riders & hard riders doesn't matter, they all had at least one flat by christmas. Kawi 700 replaced them after 500 kms.

they are excellent in the mud, they are one of the most lightweight tires out there so they are easier to spin. The Swamp Lites and Mud Lites are both great in the mud.

you will notice some power loss when you go up one size from stock but these Mud Lites are pretty lightweight so you should be alright.
