When I typed this into the search bar, I got "What's in the Ground Belongs to You One Tree Hill" in the reccommended search thing. I got pretty worried.
Thankfully after googling, I found it was the name of the episode. I can confirm this song was not used in OTH.
I would have been pretty saddened if anyone was brought here by such a terrible, shitty TV show, this is class, not rubbish like OTH.
plain & simple: this is pure musical genius in my opinion. as far as im concerned, these guys deserve to be right up there with explosions in the sky as well as mogwai in that top tier of post rock bands, its a shame these guys go mostly unnoticed! ohh and this song should DEF be used in a movie soundtrack... some kinda apocalyptic flick or something haha. love that ultra-heavy distortion at the end! ok thats my rant for the day... cheers!
i believe i just found my new fav metal band, which is a big deal for me, i'm pretty loyal but damm this is sheer AWESOME besides ISIS disbanded anyway.
Remember, Mrs. Farmer. Whenever you buy a house, whatever's in the ground belongs to you whether it's gold, oil... or Claude Musselman. Lol, love that movie
This is what music is supposed to be not flashed gutsy glamorous hooplah and doobillydoo. No matter how much shine and glitter on "music" you put it will never be pearl with its dull core this here is a see of pearls thousands beyond the eyes reach.
This was one of the first songs I heard by this band after searching for different sounds. Simply amazing. There are no words to describe your thoughts as you listen to this. Russian Circles is also amazing if you enjoy these guys. We need more music like this, and we need more people to understand and appreciate it as well.
u also can try: the sickoakes, mogwai, red sparows, masarati, god is an astronaut or mono. these are my favorite postrock bands and If These Trees Could Talk ofcourse
I'm from the Maldives and we love bands like "If These Trees Could Talk", "Isis", "Jakob", "Russian Circles", "Tool" ,etc
I am proud to say that we as an obscure nation of just 300,000 located somewhere down the Indian ocean have learnt to appreciate true music and thanks to the internet been exposed to these gems
You have apparently never tried it then. If you had you would know that listening to bands like this while high can provide some of the most powerful musical experiences possible.
Getting high just for the sake of getting high is rather immature. Getting high while alone, outside, at night, while a clear sky full of stars and listening to music like this is an almost spiritual experience.
@WanderingMidget yes get stoned and listen to amazing music and just think and feel totally agree 100% I live for that shit or better yet play the amazing music yourself
I recently came onto this band will surfing music on iTunes, and I instantly fell in love. This band, and many other post-rock bands, have an almost unreal power that captivates my mind. It's so pure.
