Did he say he used Bristlecone Pine? Last I knew it was a Federal Offense to even remove a dead piece of Bristlecone from its natural environment. These are some of the rarest trees in the world, some dating as old as 4000 years +. I am a log furniture builder myself and have done a couple of Bristlecone pieces for the USFS using Old Bristlecone fenceposts. Hopefully David knows something I don't.
