companies dont make sub-jets because to make something withstand the pressure a sub needs just to dive down makes it very heavy, therefore is bloody hard to then get in the air again.... let alone make a worthwhile fighter jet... however if you filled it with helium.....

All Cherdenko (Tim Curry) had to do was shake hands with Einstein and he created a completely different timeline, where the Soviets have the allies and at the brink of the defeat and the Empire of the Rising Sun is a world power.
