Now that is pretty cool. However it looks just a tad limited. Can you rotate the shapes or make your own from the ground up using points and vectors?

I've always had a hard time with 3D in Game Maker. Does this work with Game Maker 6.1? (I refuse to upgrade to 7+) Before I would get a program called Wings 3D, export to a .3DS format, then get another program called Marzipan to export to a model that Game Maker 6.1 would understand. A MAJOR pain in the rear, especially to texture!!

I downloaded this but i dont understand how to get the models in the game im making and also how would i get it to be a 3d game with terrian and buildings?

left klik on the arrows in the move section to move on x y and z right klik to move it the other way

it work thesame with scaling

then if your figure is in place you press the place button

ons your figure is placed you cant change it back so think before you place

i use blender 3d to make my models, is there a way i can export them to gamemaker? im only good at 2d and i wanna start learning 3d can u hook a brotha up?

@shinobimanexe gamemaker doesn't do 3d, it can only take 2d polygons and place them in a 3d formation to make it look 3d. If you want to make 3d games you need a 3d game maker like unity. Unity does work with blender.

thanks conceequently i am now in college and am studying videogame desighn and our first course covers game maker lol and ontop of that i did dabble in 3d finaly after getting my hands on blitz3d it realli is an exelent start for the c++ avid coders of the world as for unity i will be learning about that soon enough ^_^
