Nice interview, but I would honestly suggest putting some background music in there, maybe throwing in some clips from your guest's different Machinima in between the questions. Just something to keep the interview interesting. Not that it isn't interesting, but it could definitely use some... spicing up. :D

Also, I'm not sure how you record this... but there is kind of a real awkward, silent break between the questions. Perhaps use Sony Vegas or something, just kind of edit that space out.

@ ross, if he ever reads this, USE OBLIVION. THE GAME IS ALMOST MADE FOR THIS SORT OF THING. Easy animation, easy scripting, easy construction set made by the game's owners, and it is perfect for this with over 10000 mods.

Oblivion is very moddable, but when I looked at it a few years ago, there was an update that completely broke lip syncing so you had to go back to an older version. Also I don't know how customizable it is for getting custom animations or sequences inside the engine, something that's of primary importance for making a machinima otherwise everyone will appear very wooden and not so flexible.

@chilledsanity well, i do admit oblivion has a TON of bugs. it's in the game's engine itself. I am a Half-Life 2 moder, and machinimist, and the same with Oblivion. Oblivion has given me the best results so far. I know you have been having lots of computer trouble, and stuff, and Half-Life gives you a much better frame rate (for me at least). I have no idea what update you acquired, but it sounds like a fan-made thing. you might have been tricked, but i don't know. (continued)

@chilledsanity (continued, stupid character limit) I do know that for oblivion there are several mods with great custom animations, and it is relatively easy to make your own. it all depends on the program. I personally have not made custom animations for Half-Life 2, but I'd imagine it is sort of the same. Anyways, it's always an option. I'm flattered that you replied, as you are a big role model for me in machinima, and thank you for introducing me to half-life. good luck!
