If anyone is trying to find out why they're stone isn't in the embassy, its because its been moved to the reeking cave beside a dead novice conjurer :)
Damn, every time I search for Stone of Barenziah Thalmor Embassy Glitch I get something like this. My problem is that I'm in the Thalmor Embassy, have every other stone and I'm looking at the spot where it's supposed to be and it's just not there. I was at 23/24 before I took the mission Diplomatic Immunity so no I haven't made a mistake. It's just not spawned into the room.

@Shaddaigraphics Okay, let's see. I have all three words to the shout in the above video, but ignore all that! If you're on the PC, go to the cave, and open up the console by hitting "~" in the upper-left quadrant of your keyboard. Type "tcl" and hit "Enter." Close the console with "~."
You are now free to fly your arse up there! :D -- if the trapdoor is locked, open the console, click it, and type "unlock" and hit "enter." You can turn off "tcl" in the same way that you turned it on. :D

Are you fucking kidding me? I did the same glitch except I hopped up the wall in front of the log and whirlwind sprinted out of the map and ended up in the same place. It was extremely difficult, and I was at it for about 2 hours. Can't believe I didn't realize I could have done this. It would have saved a lot of time and frustration. God I'm an idiot lol

if you do not want to take the time to get all 3 words of the shout and you are a pc user like me option #2 would be to use the console command cheat TCL to turn collision off, go through the wall on the side of the thalmor embassy to get to the building(none of the doors are locked on the inside) and go back down to the dungeon from the quest with the escape tunnel. if the stone isnt in the building its probably next to the dead mage in the area with the ice troll.
@carmyvinci You're about the sixth person to apparently miss the fact that I said, in the video, that PC players can just use the console to fly their arses into the embassy. Just so you know. :-\

Love the video just wish I could get it to work. I keep shout and landing where the body and bones are your aim must have to be dead on. I have whirlwind sprint all the way to tempest so I know that's not the problem. And I saw you said something about a patch in early feburary. What exactly are they fixing. Make it so we can get back in the Embassy would be nice.
I did the "hoppy crap up that wall" glitch. It was pretty tricky to do because the wall just ends but I only had to use the double shout (AKA all I have at this point because my last character got corrupted and I had to start all over.) Wish I would have looked this up before I did that though. would have made it a little easier than almost killing myself several times by falling through the map. though I did look like a zombie rising from my frozen grave at one point. that's a thumbs up.
@jonathonwallen You. I'm sorry, I'd try and be nice, but you are a ______. I mention the console and even tell PC users to "fly your ass up" in the video. I've also posted six comments telling other people the same thing.
ANYONE who is on the PC and so desperate that they've come to YouTube to find a glitch will already know about the console. As stated in the video, folks on the Xbox and PS3 are the ones who *need* a glitch such as this -- Or if PC folks don't *want* to use the console.
@Baalloobear This is with Patch 1.4 -- if you're playing on the PC, it should be available through the Steam beta-updates. If you're on the consoles, you have to wait until you actually GET the patch in early February.

Problem is the Ruby Dragon Claw cannot be dropped once you pick it up, until you finish the Tending the flames quest, I don't intend on joining the bard's college so yeah.

I tried to get into the Embassy early in the game, but forgot that the hatch was locked. As I had 23 stones, fifteen levels later I was in the building and pretty keen to get the last one, and was going apesh*t trying to find it. I left the Embassy sobbing and found the b*stard in the cave. Aggh.
Just watched this vid and tried in on xbox console. It works. Thanks man. got it on the first try. i just watched the vid carefully on where you aim when you use whirlwind. ;)
@jiffeelube It's not any different for you -- it's the same log and the same path. Look at the log carefully, and test how high up you can get, even if it means being farther away from the target. Then make sure you aim at the part of the edge that curls downward. Find what you're aiming for -- good luck! It DOES work, your copy of Skyrim is the same as other folks'. :-p
Hey! So I may be stupid or whatever but I've been trying for seriously an hour and I just can't get it. I've tried going higher or lower on the log and aiming more left or right but I just can't get it. Additional tips would be great ;___;
@Whitefloweronmygrave Let's see... take a nice long look at the log, and find out just how high you can go. You do NOT need to try and be close to the overhang -- the Shout will get you there regardless. Next, look at the overhang and make sure you see the drooping bit on the far right that I' aiming for. Additionally, though I not tested, try jumping after you shout, and maybe dropping off loot/wear light armor... don't think that last one matters, but someone mentioned it.

Just a tip for anyone having trouble, you can "wait" between each attempt for 1 hour, which will almost instantly recharge your shout, meaning multiple attempts are very quick. I got it on my fourth try though.
Also, unless your trying not to use console cheats, you can simply walk up to the door that requires the key, open the console command with " ~ " key below escape on normal keyboards then select the door itself with mouse and type Unlock and if you have done it properly it should reply that the door has been unlocked, giving you ease of access - while the guards may prove a problem I simply went stealth and passed unnoticed. Be mindful this only works on PC as far as I'm aware.
@Cx3SpecialFx12 I needed the stone, and the only way back in at the time involved some freaky hoppy crap. After dying roughly 20 times, I tried jumping up to the ledge, stacking stuff to get up, and finally got on that conveniently placed log and shouted. I felt badass.
I am trying to learn the last word at the peak or ruins or whatever and nothing happens when I approach the word wall. I tried reloading but nothing worked
@MakeItFreakyDeaky This happened to me, but mine started working on its own. I think I just fast traveled back to the place, waited, saved reloaded, etc...
If you're on the PC, you can use the console to get the shout. Otherwise, it's down to chance. I'm sorry. :(

@Magicz918 Once you complete the set and turn 'em and return to Vex at the Thieves Guild, you'll be sent to find the Crown that they fit inside of. After a long dungeon crawl, you'll have that and can cough it up for the perk "Prowler's Profit" -- you are several times more likely to find gems in chests. Good luck!
this seems SO easy on the video and by reading the comments, but I can`t get up there!!! Driving me mad!! I don`t even know if it`s the stone I`m missing, if it is, it`s the last one... SO frustrating!!!! :(
I don't know if it's possible, but if you find or hear of a glitch to get back to Skuldafn that would be great; I missed the word of power AND the mask lol
@dannystoll84 On the PC, "coc skuldafn04" is the only way in. As for the console games... is the door to the place accessible but locked?
If you can't reach the door, there's definitely a way to get TO it. But if it's locked, I'm sorry. Good excuse to play the game as a new kinda character? :D
@LordWolter I'm not sure, since I couldn't even get to the door. I'm pretty sure Skuldafn is somewhere in the mountains at the far east of the world. I spent half an hour getting almost to the top, but I couldn't get any further because the game thought I was trying to glitch out and started saying "You cannot go that way."
@dannystoll84 I'm sorry... you might have to go without that unlockable mask ('tisn't that good anyway) and the full Storm Call shout. :(
If anything, and if you feel like giving it more time, maybe look up ways around that "You Shall Not Pass" wall -- good luck no matter what you end up doing.
@SwordPengy8 Useful at getting you past bugs, but once you know how to use them, the games are almost ruined. You find a chest with a master lock, and would rather click it and type "unlock" than putting forth the effort. Can't sneak around easily enough, "player.setav sneak 100." Want mammoths to be even scarier, "setscale 10."
Now, mods are what is amazing about the PC versions of games.
I couldn't get it to work (xbox) 'till I tried hitting the Y/Jump button as SOON as I crossed over. I also aimed a little more to the left than and was a little higher on the log. Cheers for the video!

People are not dumbasses -- though clearly not in all cases. They can find a glowing pink rock inside a gaudy golden case inside a wooden BOX of a building. What they need help with is a glitch, which I have provided.
@LordWolter All the wiki descriptions are vague at best, just thought it would be nice to see someone put up the location thats all. I do appreciate you posting the glitch to get into the building and I will take blame for writing FAIL, I was quite upset at the time due to me needing to glitch to get in the building. Sorry if I did offend, your video is NOT FAIL, maybe a quick run up the stairs and into the correct bedroom to make the video perfect but thats just my opinion. CHEERS!
Quick heads up: if you're a PS3 guy, do yourself a favor and just get on a horse and hop over the fence. I spent a considerable amount of time trying this, and I don't know why (LordWolter makes it look effortless) but I had no success with this method. Then I just bought a horse in Whiterun for $1000 and in minutes I was inside picking up my 24th Barenziah Stone. Booyah.
I seem to be having a bit of trouble with this. It appears that I'm pointed at the right spot, I have all three levels of shout, but I keep falling. =(

On PC open console (~) and then type TCL. Aim up toward ledge press W to fly up. Open console again and type TCL to return to normal.

this stone has been moved to the reeking cave with patch 1.4. it's now next to the dead body shown at 4:47.
the patch is already up on steam in beta form. you have to opt in through the account tab on your steam settings menu.

Just a tip for anyone having trouble, you can "wait" between each attempt for 1 hour, which will almost instantly recharge your shout, meaning multiple attempts are very quick. I got it on my fourth try though.

Also, unless your trying not to use console cheats, you can simply walk up to the door that requires the key, open the console command with " ~ " key below escape on normal keyboards then select the door itself with mouse and type Unlock and if you have done it properly it should reply that the door has been unlocked, giving you ease of access - while the guards may prove a problem I simply went stealth and passed unnoticed. Be mindful this only works on PC as far as I'm aware.

@Cx3SpecialFx12 I needed the stone, and the only way back in at the time involved some freaky hoppy crap. After dying roughly 20 times, I tried jumping up to the ledge, stacking stuff to get up, and finally got on that conveniently placed log and shouted. I felt badass.

I am trying to learn the last word at the peak or ruins or whatever and nothing happens when I approach the word wall. I tried reloading but nothing worked

@MakeItFreakyDeaky This happened to me, but mine started working on its own. I think I just fast traveled back to the place, waited, saved reloaded, etc...
If you're on the PC, you can use the console to get the shout. Otherwise, it's down to chance. I'm sorry. :(

@Magicz918 Once you complete the set and turn 'em and return to Vex at the Thieves Guild, you'll be sent to find the Crown that they fit inside of. After a long dungeon crawl, you'll have that and can cough it up for the perk "Prowler's Profit" -- you are several times more likely to find gems in chests. Good luck!

@dannystoll84 On the PC, "coc skuldafn04" is the only way in. As for the console games... is the door to the place accessible but locked?
If you can't reach the door, there's definitely a way to get TO it. But if it's locked, I'm sorry. Good excuse to play the game as a new kinda character? :D

@LordWolter I'm not sure, since I couldn't even get to the door. I'm pretty sure Skuldafn is somewhere in the mountains at the far east of the world. I spent half an hour getting almost to the top, but I couldn't get any further because the game thought I was trying to glitch out and started saying "You cannot go that way."

@SwordPengy8 Useful at getting you past bugs, but once you know how to use them, the games are almost ruined. You find a chest with a master lock, and would rather click it and type "unlock" than putting forth the effort. Can't sneak around easily enough, "player.setav sneak 100." Want mammoths to be even scarier, "setscale 10."
Now, mods are what is amazing about the PC versions of games.

I do appreciate you posting the glitch to get into the building and I will take blame for writing FAIL, I was quite upset at the time due to me needing to glitch to get in the building. Sorry if I did offend, your video is NOT FAIL, maybe a quick run up the stairs and into the correct bedroom to make the video perfect but thats just my opinion. CHEERS!

Quick heads up: if you're a PS3 guy, do yourself a favor and just get on a horse and hop over the fence. I spent a considerable amount of time trying this, and I don't know why (LordWolter makes it look effortless) but I had no success with this method. Then I just bought a horse in Whiterun for $1000 and in minutes I was inside picking up my 24th Barenziah Stone. Booyah.
