  • could h70 fit in this ?

  • Pretty awesome case, wished I picked this instead of CM elite 430. Dammit.

  • lol I was wondering why you kept saying beta good review, my daughter wants me to build her a cheap gaming rig and I saw this one was only $39 and had a good amount of features. I might pick one up next week to get her pc started.

  • This is the Alpha and i prefer it to the beta, top quality review mate showed me everything i needed to know.

  • Don't you mean Alpha? Bcuz Beta doesn't have the option to mount to fans in the top.

  • modders case! and hmmmm mayb i should pic one

  • Where is the BitFenix Logo ?

  • I just bought the BitFenix Beta case for 37€. Waiting for it to come now :)

  • @Tubestiina i m buying alpha , and i will fit a sli mobo and sli gpus in it ? can it do

  • @geekyloopholesfinder What cards are you going to put there? If you tell me the length of the cards, I can measure if they will fit? By the way, It's a really good case for the money.. Highly recommend it if you're on budget! the 120mm fan that comes with the case is very quiet too.

  • This case puts the Thermaltake V3 Black Edition to shame. It would have been perfect if they were to replace the side panel mesh with acrylic window.

  • AAAALPPPPHAAAAAA

  • best video name

  • So I'd say why not get a better GPU if you can save loads on the case!

  • Rip off of the Thermaltake V3 Black edition. zzzz lazy

  • *Whispers* Alpha!

  • You should definitely not apologize for reviewing the low end stuff. In fact I'd like to see more of that. 99% of the internet information you get on computers is for high end gamers, who are only a few percent of the market at best. In fact I think I read somewhere recently that nearly 90% of all new rigs have integrated graphics - no video card at all!

The audience is out there, but nobody seems to want to cater to them.

  • its a alpha, hahaha

  • When will newegg sale bitfenix??

  • Alpha and Beta sounds like something that isn't done, or is that the point?

  • soo the price is not right as well or...?

  • 23:30 Tom you've got it wrong, you've got it wrong.

  • Alpha ;)

  • Its Alpha :)

  • Alpha :P

  • HDD cage wrong again! Bitfenix don't listen and don't learn, but hey there are a lot of better cases :)

  • HDD cage wrong again! Bitfenix don't listen and don't learn, but hey there are a lot of better cases :)

  • Its not in the us

  • Alpha -MoFo!

  • UNTIL THE END!

  • LOL IS THAT THE DIFFRENCE BETWEEN ALPHA AND BETA 2 FANS

  • Bitfenix is a great company who seems like they can actually take criticism, unlike others from what these videos have shown.

  • looks kind of like a fractal case :-s

  • Comment removed

  • You were so very right Tom, judging by the posts!

    :D

  • silverstone Rvo2, corsair obsidian 800d, haf x

  • You keep saying beta but its the alpha.

  • @carlje54 someone didnt watch to the end.... :P

  • @MegaJ0sh Right :)

  • awesome review as always :) i rember buying a £30 case three years ago and it was nothing compared to this no cable routing holes no powder coating on the inside aswell and only had 80mm fans on back just shows how much cases have changed in the last few years. keep up the good work :)

  • lol for storage i recommend wd green drives, lol i have a wd caviar black drive xd, it's pretty loud but really fast

  • @pleite567 WD Greens are slow as shit! haha get spinpoint F3 1TB drives, only £40 and reliable!

  • @Nymphoes ttl said that

  • @pleite567 greens are meant to be eco friendly and spin down alot which increases load times if your inactive.

  • sub box is not working

  • That's the alpha version you silly goose :)

  • lol good one tom

  • You had it aaaall wrong the whole video mate :D Looks to me like you need MORE coffe!

  • fail case i got something much much better a segotep g2a raynor for about err 60$

  • BitFenix Merc Alpha vs NZXT Source 210, which is better? There's only one way to find out......lol

  • @mrmactknife FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!!!

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms Gotta love a bit of harry hill

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms Haha, Harry Hill is a LEGEND. btw NZXT Source 210 White, from CCL for under 40quid delivered. £40 for a white chassis sounds reasonable to me?

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms Worst reply ever from my mate?

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms

I think that it is quite nice case but really could be better in this price. If only it had dust filters (in the front, on the top and bottom), bigger cut-out on backplate and two fans included it would be great but without it it's only another cheap case from China manufactory. It's my opinion only ;)

  • @mrmactknife well there's only one way to find out Mark

  • "some people dont mind if you dont like it"

    *cough*NZXT*cough*

  • me cat sez yous got it wronk

  • I watched it to the end, lol

  • I've seen worse cases for a higher price. Not something I would buy for myself. Like you said Tom, maybe for a mate that wants me to build him a Facetube PC.

  • YOU GOT IT WRONG. YOU GOT IT WRONG! IT'S THE ALPHA!!

  • I watched to the end :). lol.

  • At last a budget case without fans! The other case manufacturers should copy that. I mean there's no point putting in crappy fans and making the cases price higher. If you build your own rig you usually do have at least 2 fans lying around, or you buy some that you really want to use. Big thumbs up from me for Bit Fenix, for no fans included.

  • YOU GOT IT ALL WRONG LOGAN! Its THE APLHA!

Thumps up for it gets to the top! :)

  • why you didn't put the MARS II instead of the 6990 to see extreme GPU size scenario :D

  • I hope you could do a Review of BitFenix OutLaw, the cool thing about that case is that they have rotated the mb 180°.

  • @jgu0101 what is cool about 180° mobo? this way the GPU get more dust and suck air at top isn't the best

  • @Nagby3 You suck in air from the sides/bottom of the case and blow it out in the top. So dust can't fall down from the top-

  • @jgu0101 but GPU will suck air from top if it is upside down

and if you put exhaust at top of this case there will be a very low air pressure betwen top of the case and GPU

and less air heat faster than lot of air

  • @Nagby3 Thats true, but I dont think it will affect that much if you have a single card in the case, then the card will almost be in the middle of the case, if u go for Dual cards it might be more of a problem cuz the one of the cards will be closer to the top fans.

But OutLaw is an budget case, and will go for around 65$(USD), so if someone is going for SLI or CF they should spend more money on the case. But point taken.

  • @jgu0101 i think the outlaw is a good case but i don't understand why they turned the motherboard

they said that was to fit big GPU in 5.25" but as you said you wouldn't buy this kind of case for CFX/SLI or over 200$ GPU

    and i myself have a 60€ case (NZXT M59)

  • its a alpha haha

  • I dont understand why in a budget case needing to put afternarket coolers and big graphic cards is even mentioned. There is something wrong with putting that king of hardware in such a case

  • @bradscarfe1983 Room for expansion. The NHD-14 and 6990 are simply in that rig to prove they fit.

By the way, both will fit in the Coolermaster HAF 912, which I would directly compare to the Bitfenix Merc as being a budget case that can fit top shelf parts.

  • @soggymaster

I agree with soggymaster, not all people have a deacent rig care about their case.

if it has a nice airflow why not pick a low budget case with a nice airflow right?

  • @Limitbreak07 totally my opinion, i got the AeroCool RS-9, its very low budged with around 50 bucks or less, it supports 6x120mm or 4x120mm and 2x140mm and the airflow is phenomenal, never gets hot in there :)

  • @bradscarfe1983 many people even with great hardware dont care about the case

  • its Alpha Tommy :)

  • that looks like an alpha ;-)

  • Very impressive for the price.

  • Gotta be the only case with cable management like that for so cheap. Very good for the price obviously as mentioned double video card setups with lots of hard drive would be an issue but if someone can afford that... they can obviously afford a higher end case haha This is perfect for a budget build.

  • lol at least you was honest tom lol keep up the good work mate :-)

  • Great video Tom. Unbelievable price. I've just paid that for two case fans :). Keep up the good work.

  • I watched the whole thing. ;)

  • Can you do a round up review of all the m-atx micro towers?

Lian li pc-a04, Silverstone TJ08-e, Fractal design Core 1000

Can you like compare them side by side lol and do a review of them?

  • Hahahaha! That one was hilariouse!

  • did you dint the side panel?

  • ALPHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

  • yay

    ;)

  • Haha tom you legend! Classic TTL ;)

  • got the end :D. I agree w your review tom, I own a computer store and i can't tell you how many younge lads want a mix of budget components and high performance. this case is a good option for those buyers. will start bringing these cases in my shop :D nice review, good work.

  • Nice fix Tom. Quality OC3D vid as usual ;)

  • Doing a budget gaming pc build for my 6 year old son. I think this would work perfect for that. I like the simplicity and it covers all the basics.

  • Any chance you'll be taking a look at the Silverstone TJ08-E in the upcoming weeks? Haven't gotten any full reviews of it on Youtube yet. Would be nice to see a proper review on the good and bad, and possibly see about fitting a 240mm radiator up in the front, or a NH-D14 in there without the harddrive rack to see the performance of the 180mm AP fan.

  • @OfficeHopscotch

I've got a TJ08-E with an NH-D14 in there without the hd bay...works like a charm

  • "Damn you got it wrong, you got it wrong!" - I'm a legit one! *wink*

  • @ZeroHeroVids always till the end ;)

  • @scottwcoleman Indeed! :d

  • I do not think that I would buy this case and then put like 1000+ EUR vorth stuff in it :D

  • @s51as Well, it's a "budget case" for a reason...

  • i will recommend this one to a friend currently looking to build a small home server! great video!

  • i dont know if it just me or you should get your own tv show

  • very narrow audience @XxTheHardCoreGamerxX

  • you can tell youtube in broken at the moment no subscribers

  • your wrong you got the beta :P

  • @microTerminator2 you're
