im just curious, how much control does the driver under the trailer have? i know he can steer it but does he have brakes or is that controlled by the driver of the truck?
Stupid jacka$s from a backwater country which got a makeshift electrical grid operating only in 2007 .....
..... as long as "90 Minutes Per Day" is considered "operating".
What were you blabbing about? Never mind, not interested in hearing it. Now go dig around under mama's sink .... see that bright color can with "Oven Cleaner" written on it. Since your nearly illiterate family can't afford mouthwash, that makes a fine alternative.
@KimmurielBaenre i always wondered about that, too, but we once took the boeing tour (they operate a "factory tour" at the everett plant) and that's how we found out what they're carrying.
@MegaDeathwarrant in all fairness, i used to work as a crew mwmber on c-130s way back in the day...and i have a lot of trust in e and h model c-130s, despite their age...so i guess that means lockheed ain't all bad, eh?
@EinkOLED those are wing spars in the truck, which help form the structural framework upon which the wing fuel tanks are hung and upon which the wing skin is laid. the 737 fuselage, on the other hand, arrives on a train. i can't put a link in these replies, but google "Boeing 737 Fuselage On Rail Car " and you'll find a video i have up that shows what it looks like.
@EinkOLED Wrong on both counts. Truck's heading to Everett. 737s are made in Renton.(Boeing Field) and the last 757 was delivered in 2005! Guess again.
@PilotUTA@texaslivewire360 i'd refer both of y'all to the answer i gave ElinkOLED: you can't really move a fueselage on a truck, and they move them on trains instead (google "Boeing 737 Fuselage On Rail Car " to see a video of what it looks like); i was recently buying gas in seattle when one of the tranis happened to roll by.
the trucks are carrying wing spars, as i understand it.

You could not pay me enough to be in that second cab. That's like riding the bottom turret on a World War 2 bomber. Suicide position!

A380 convoy: 150 miles dedicaced route fully closed with "French National Guard", 1,5 millions $ truck GPS guided, 30 mph limited speed.
Boeing: "Keep your kicks, on route 66, in 3 stereo autoradios", 50 mph minimum speed, and it's OK! :-)

That's a narrow body fueselage, so it could either be a 757 or sections of it. Or a boeing 737.
