@ella14052010 I would use the grinder for this big straight cut but when it comes time to slot out single bricks or neatly rake the joints without dust everywhere the AS170 is very nice to have. I just ordered one today. No more popping out single brick with chisels for me.
It looks like it takes longer to make a straight cut than an angle grinder or demo saw.
How many bricks can you cut before the blades go blunt?
I've been looking to buy one of these but they seem very expensive.
What do you think after using yours? Was it worth the expense?

There a great idea but they cost over 1000 bucks. A 9 inch grinder does me.
