  • FPE, RIP.

  • Don't get mad at me for saying this. I am an honor guardsman, in the Air Force, exactly like the ones in the video. I am well within my rights to judge their performance. They didn't do a good job honoring those who passed. They were all out of step, their shots sounded like popcorn instead of one pop, and don't even get me started about that A1C at the lead. He was 2 counts behind the whole time, he jammed his rifle, and he couldn't even find his own charging handle.

  • Lol my ROTC group get to do a 21 gun salute INDOORS in a gym. Ohhhhh boy.

  • They all died so Dick Cheney could afford that expensive fake heart that keeps his satanic self going, a death slow and obscene.

  • They never do this for war dogs and K9 dogs -- the cause of all wars.

  • you people don't even know what a 21 gun salute is! Three Volley Salute is what you all are thinking of. The group of individuals that fire 3 shots in the air at the end of a military funeral is a THREE VOLLEY SALUTE. A 21 Gun Salute is totally different.

  • the womens gun jams after the frist shot , so she doesent fire after that.

  • R.I.P Grandpa 2nd Lieutenent (ret.) Galicano Mendez Astaorga Jr.

  • @NDguy111 it's like Christina Aguilera using her vocal olympics in Star Spangled Banner or other patriotic song. sing it as written, save the bullshitting for pop music. it's disrespectful to me, and on top of that, I think that when she sings in that style (when it's "appropriate"), she more than over does it, and uses those horrid manly growls. fuck that. it's not impressive and is a turn off. she's an amazing singer and could prove that if she would knock off the ugly, unnecessary bullshit.

  • the first guy (woman) doesn't fire. I saw that in few videos, is it normal?

  • SALUTE

  • A moment of silence for a USA Military POW's and MIA's.

    Lost, But never forgotten.

    *Ceremonial Salute* MSGT. Applegate

  • The firing team looked as it was the first time they ran that drill. As an Infantryman who spent months on Funeral detail over the years (I volunteered), I was discusted with their performance (esp. the female in the front). The rest was moving. Missing Man is always amazing to me.

  • 2 Afghans disliked this...='(

  • to thoughs of you who didnt like this, fuck you

  • god bless the u.s.a. pow mia. lost but never forgotten. one question tho. y did the one plane go out of formation?

  • @pyrotechnicfreak1

    thats the missing man formation.

  • Firing party was awful. As an NCO with a base Honor Guard I know how it should look and that was not it. It was not crisp and it was way too fast like they were in a hurry to leave. They are correct. This is not a true 21 gun salute. Everyone just uses the term.

  • 3:11 :(

  • Please do the Honorable thing and correct the title. This is not a 21 Gun salute its a volley of shots from rifleman. A President gets a 21 Gun salute with Guns(cannons/artillery) not rifleman. They represent completely different meanings. Thanks.

  • Anyonewho disliked this is a communist shit twinkletoed cocksucker.

  • american elegy!

  • to all my fellow soldiers, marines, airmen, and seamen out there. Proud to be serving with all of you.

  • 2 People are Comunists

  • who the heck is the communist who hit dislike!?!?!?!?!

  • This is for you Dad. R.I.P. 2nd Luetenent Micheal William Siefert 3/26/10. miss you dad

  • @soulswordreaper i show respect to you dad ! r.i.p

  • @soulswordreaper march 26th is my birthday it makes me sad to know this happened on my birthday

  • the 2nd guy was off

  • In this information age, how can so many remain so ignorant.

Three rifle volleys may be fired at military funerals. If you have seven shooters this equals 21 shots. But this is NOT a "21-gun salute." In the military, a "gun" is a cannon, not a rifle. Any number of riflemen may be used as an honor guard, subject to availability. They will fire three volleys and the total number of shots will be dictated by the number of riflemen. An actual 21-gun salute is reserved for the president.

  • First of all, There is not 21 shots fired at a military funeral. It is 7 Soldiers, fireing 3 shots. Which equals up to 21 shots.

  • Guys be respectful! I dont think if you died that you would want people debating on if it was a 21 salute at your own funeral! and yes it was a 21 gun funeral and yes you guys need to stop complaining!

  • @AirsoftVideoCentral Read an F'in book/do some research. It is NOT a 21 gun salute!!!!!!

  • @AirsoftVideoCentral You're wrong but that's to be expected of an airsofter. Keep making airsofters look dumb it shows everyone how stupid it is.

  • @AirsoftVideoCentral No. There is no element of disrespect whatsoever. There's no debate here; it's fact. The salute in this video was a 3-volley salute. It's a common misconception since 21 blank rounds are discharged. An actual 21 gun salute is when artillery (e.g. cannons)--not rifles fired by a seven man rifle party three times--are fired individually 21 times by a 4-gun battery in succession at 3 second intervals by the first 3 guns. The 4th gun is loaded and ready in case of a misfire.

  • @AirsoftVideoCentral Each cannon has a two man crew consisting of one loader and one gunner, and there is a staff of five men to give firing commands. (Only one man gives the commands for a 3-volley salute.) The staff includes an Officer in Charge, a watchman who marks the intervals and signals each gun to fire, a backup watchman, a counter who counts 21 fired rounds and signals the last round to OIC, and an Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge who marches the battery into place.

  • @AirsoftVideoCentral 21 gun salutes are reserved for only the president. Not even O-10 grade officers (4 star generals and 4 star admirals) are eligible to receive the honor of the 21 gun salute. 19 gun salutes are reserved for deputy heads of state, chiefs of staff, cabinet members, and 5 star generals. For 4 star generals and admirals, a 17 gun salute is prescribed; a 3 star gen. or adm. would rate a 15 gun salute; 2 star: 13 guns, 1 star, 11 guns.) Now, uhhh, go ahead and fuck yourself.

  • @reelgangstazskip yea ok, your dumb and ill be doing a 21 gun salute for my buddy who just died...am in afghanistan, hes only a corporal.

  • @reelgangstazskip: HEY BUDDY,hate to break it to you but all retired and honorably discharged service members rate a funeral detail and a 21 gun salute, what you are talking about is a battery salute or called a Presidental Salute. please no cursing.

  • those were the ugliest volleys with the most unsuitable people rendering honors EVER.

  • Oh yeah....and for the thousanth time, that wasn't a 21 gun salute!!

  • @kel30j IF YOU DON'T LIKE HOW WE DO THINGS IN AMERICA THEN GTFO!

  • Firing Party was absolutely terrible...one of the worst I've ever seen!! WTF?! I'm pretty much speachless...and you wonder why Base Honor Guards get a bad rap. STOP BEING SO DAMN LAZY AND FUCKING TRAIN!

  • @kel30j 0______________0 cough "ungratful" cough

  • wtf is up with that girls tatoos on her arms ? I thought USMC regs did not allow marines to have tattoos visible while in uniform ? And she definatley doesnt look old enough to be grandfathered in to that reg

  • your just jelous
