The band didn't quit, Esbjorn Svensson passed away last June. He died in a scuba diving accident, about 6 or 7 days before I was supposed to see him in a concert.

Saw these guys live at the Sage Gateshead, UK, in 2007. They were fabulous. I remember walking past them sat down in a line, smiling away and chatting to fans as they autographed albums etc.....seems so sad that ES is no longer here....he was such an , unbelievabl, unbelievably talented musician....

I feel quite angry about his loss. I'm sure it was a situation that couldn't be foreseen but, what a waste! I love this band, the whole approach to all the work they did. The clarity of his playing will grow on people in the coming years and they will realize that here was a musician of rare talent who had something great to say. RIP
