Putting up a sign will not stop trashers from trashing. The only way to stop them is to collect the evidence. Trashing someone elses property is already an unreasonable act. Unreasonable people cannot be reasoned with. They will only be stopped by force.

If the fence is placed down the middle of the property line the part extending onto the opposing property is no longer yours to with as you like. That includes posting signs, painting, and so on. Actually, if it could be proven by using a surveyor the fence could at your neighbor's wish be relocated to where it 100% on your property. Costing lots $. The free world is NOT free.

This fence is like a foot off of the concrete patio so unless the patio is in the wrong place the nut bag neighbor has no right to cross over and deface the other side of the fence. I would hire a surveyor and make sure where the property line is because technically she could be trespassing .

If you had guests over, it MIGHT be possible that they indeed did throw something over the fence (even as a joke)...It's possible. In my last house, the neighbor behind me would have a barbecue practically every weekend and invite up to 50 people. Some would throw beer cans or garbage over my fence. Why should I have to pick up crap his guests threw over? Maybe she feels that way. Could you possibly monitor your guests more closely next time?

ugh, she's HORRIBLE! ...She reminds me of my landlady who lives right above me. She is absolutely nuts, and doesn't remember previous conversations. She has serious mood swings, and she is up at 3 AM, moving furniture above my head. She also gets angry with me for doing laundrey...Thank God I'm moving out in about 13 days. Annjee, even from the little footage shown of your property, it's obvious your family keeps a clean place. From what you've mentioned, it appears this woman has some considerable problems. (i am not bilingual, sorry.) update: no sign of neighbor for well over a month now except for a beautiful yellow mum she put on the post of our adjoining wall. is this a peace sign? (one time a few months back, though, she hot glued tall boy beer cans to the top of the adjoining fence...all the way down our property line. and they were full beer cans!)

i created this video with my husband, we have a NO trespassing warrant....the police can't help....AND she did come on our property multiple times before this. now she just pops up and does something harassing a few times each month. we are moving anyway. oh, and the fence is on our property line and was installed by the previous owners, so we own it.

I feel for you. Some people are crazy. But I actually have neighbors that have kids that throw garbage in my yard. I've called the police, but they deny it, and then call me crazy! I hope you're not doing what they are. And if you are, AND you even make a YouTube video about it, well, all my sympathy goes out to the so-called crazy woman.
