I was at this show. I wouldn't call it a great show, but one with historic significance for sure. It was ruined by a really drunk crowd, including a woman down front doing an unwelcome call and response during this song ("Oh you KNOW it's hard, baby!") Patti was furious, took the sheets of handwritten lyrics that were taped to the mike stands, balled them up, threw them away and left the stage. I have the wrinkled lyric sheets as a souvenir. A show ruined by a drunk woman I shouldve strangled.

One thing I have learned about Patti is she can play with an audiance and knows how to work a crowd, but she dosen't suffer fools easily. She was right to be pissed.

@nancy2k yeah quite honestly there were a number of folks that showed up that night that could have done with a mallet to the head, there was a bit of a psycho vibe in the background (from the crowd not the bands).

I'm so delighted to see this - Patti was in her "reclusive" period then, being a stay-at-home mom, and there is so little footage of her at that time. Thanks for sharing! :)
