As awesome as this cameo sounds and as awesome as Stan Lee is, it reminds me of the scene from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 in the cafe, when the waitress is listening to earphones while we see a battle going on behind her and she doesnt realise, sounds familar somehow..

something tells me... he may not be entirely telling the truth. The tone of the scene he described is way too camp in the vein of Raimi's Spiderman films. While his cameo is indeed as funny as he described it to be - I don't think he would really give it away - from what he described, the earphones-during-action-scene joke has been used a dozen times over, most recently in Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows Part 1. If it really is genius, it'll be different than what he said.

@TobyB8: Not really actually sam raimi I think his name is got fustrated with spiderman 4 cause he had this release date nd knew he was no where near ready for it so if he did make the deadline for the ovie it woulda been rushed work nd would have probably been horrible. Spider man started in highschool the 30 mins of the first movie where parker was in high was ok but id rather it have him in highschool longer seeing as thts how it started. Nd I think the reboot all around will b a lot better.

They should have went through with spider man 4 with Tobey McGuire now they are taking it back to highschool which we have already been there with the first film now they are writing up a totally different story which will probably fall in the same pattern and not only are they taking it back they pushed the film to release July 3rd 2012 I mean if they wouldn't have messed with the story and taken spiderman 4 away we could see this film out in the next 2 or 3 months but that's Hollywood for you
