This is interesting. On one hand George Will is right. Harry Reid was just stating a fact. Obama is half Caucasian and he doesnt speak with an identifiably African American dialect and those qualities probably did make him more palatable to many voters. However Liz Chenny is right in that by the standards of speech imposed on us, mainly by the race conscious liberals, what Harry Reid said is very racist. So actually what this shows is that a comment can be racist and at the same time be true.
