Dr. Davis, did the Michigan study control for the effects of sucrose/HFCS to ensure that the effect was only due to wheat? I would be very curious to see if the effect of overeating the "cupcakes and cookies" was only due to the gliadin content, or if it was also due to effects of sugar consumption. Maybe the two work together? Thanks very much for all the fantastic information!

It cut out right at the part I was interested in, the antibodies after getting a blood test done I suspect antibodies caused by gluten are causing afew problems, one of them being messing up my thyroid hormones.
In the late 90s,whole grains, breads,pastas where HIGHLY recommended I noticed then that my blood sugars where spiking, yet no one would listen to me.I knew then what they were telling EVERYONE was wrong. How is it that I knew then what the mainstream medical establishment still does not face? Even the Diabetes org.s still tell you to eat whole grains,they are killing us.How many people that ate that way are now on multiple oral meds or even insulin?
