Agreed! i think RA is perfect as Mr. Thornton, but if anything else he'd make a very good Mr. Darcy, but def not Mr. Rochester.

Oh my lawd, Richard Armitage was PERFECT as Thornton. PERFECT. My favorite three scenes (and coincidentally his favorite scenes, too) were when he proposed to her, where he was watching her ride away, and the final scene. O.M.G. His acting was just excellent. Excellent. Excellent. Excellent!!! I can't decide whether I like N&S or P&P better, they're both so amazing!

I just watched North and South recently and ended up watching it 3 times in a week. I did not think any production could eclipse Pride and Prejudice, but the quality, acting, and music of this BBC adaptation surprised me and I fell in love with it. Plus this song is my favorite out of the soundtrack :-)
