The problem is that most of my compatriotes do not make their research before voting for a candidate. Anyways, Shir-o Khorshidis should not give up their right to fly their flags at a demo in Quebec, it is their basic constitutional right and Québec-Solidaire people must respect that right. Keep up the good works Young Phoenix and don't give up filming. For the time being, I'll put my own little 20cm Shir-o-Khorshid by my window, in support for this gentleman and the principle of democracy :).

The man is making arguments for having the Iranian National Flag at the rallies.

The lady(Amir Khadir's wife) is making arguments against the flag.

This is an ongoing debate within the Iranian community in exile, but it really has nothing to do with Quebec politics.

I just saw a Youtube video with his wife asking people not to bring flags. He is a member of the "Mojahedine Khalgh". That's the last thing we need in Iran. The problem is that they organize the rally in "everyone"'s name so they get a huge crowd, they ask them not to bring flags, and later claim the credit for their organization.

So were there any flags? What happened?

This debate is not about which flag or no flag at all but it is about ones right to protest as he or she wants in a free country or at least I taught it is one till they call the copsIranian against Iranianshame on you.
