  • Fripp is the stravinsky, chopin, bartok of these times everything he creates it is ok for me..... God give him 300 years more please.

  • I hate this shit, this is not from Fripp, this cover is shit without any sense- cheers

  • @Silverspring777 No this is Fripp and the League... Its live and Fripp almost never plays any piece "note for note" as the "studio" version... always lots of improv, and alteration in arrangement. Its them alright. As 'Spicken' says, "warts and all".

  • @Silverspring777 Sir, i have no knowledge about the cover, but the music IS from Robert Fripp. League of Gentlemen.

  • aaah... what's a ZEMAITIS guitar doing here ? RF played his Gibson LP custom ''black beauty'' at the time, the same one he used with King Crimson from 69 to 74. Later he used Roland, Toka'i' and Fernandes ...but nener a ZEMAITIS !

  • The mix is way out balance. Drums way too far out in front, keyboard way too far back. I don't know who the band is, but it's a good cover. There is an important drum break missing at around 2:30. The ending misses the mark.

  • @MikeBatard I could be wrong but this sounds like the League of Gentlemen from the archive release "Thrang Thrang Gozinbulx" which Robert Fripp compiled and released in 1996, in the early days of Discipline Global Mobile, recorded in the summer of 1980 before JOhnny Toobad left the band and the bulk of the studio LP was recorded.

  • @MikeBatard - no cover this the original warts and all

  • Danke!!

  • Gracias.
