ANYONE who is told not to enter the field or go close to the perimeter fence and then goes and does so deserves everything they get no matter how much you claim it is a peaceful protest.
So you think the civil rights movement was wrong and that the black people being segregated should have shut up and learned their place? Without a certain level of disobedience, governments would walk all over the top of people. Ever notice how the places that ban protests are usually somewhat totalitarian?
There's a fundamental difference between the Civil Rights movement, and the riots in this video. The Civil Rights movement had a clear purpose. The idiots in this video are just a bunch of hooligans, who whilst preaching about ending poverty, went on a rampage across central Scotland. Breaking hundreds od laws in the process. And the outcome? Two strangers arguing over it on Youtube.
This was hardly a protest, the majority of the folk involved just wanted an excuse to wreak havoc, and potentially injure people. For example, the idiots who thought it would be a good idea to build a roadblock on a busy motorway.
The majority of the protesters were not part of the Anarchists "black bloc" which caused most of that damage and built the roadblock. People from the SSP and other socialists parties would not have been rioting.
