  • I know all the basic scales and some exotic ones too how do I do this technique w/ them?

  • @TheFigueroa007: It's quite easy to apply this technique from a theoretical point of view. Just use whatever note you want as a pedal point and then build a melody line with the other notes in the scale you're playing in. Alternate the pedal point with the melody notes (the latter either in an ascending or descending fashion) and there you have it. :-)

  • hey dude the pedal point parts of thhis piece

are you using inside picking between two strings???because if thats outside picking its about as clean as paul gilberts i shit you not.....im a huge fan of pauls and i would never just throw a compliment like that out there

amazing job man,in a studio that would be an epic track.....do u have any recordings???

  • Thank you for your compliment! I must admit that I'm not that comfortable with inside picking. So I actually prefer outside picking and, for example, I always use upstrokes on the high E string when playing pedal points. Paul Gilbert is definitely a master of picking and I'm fascinated by his technical abilities as well.

I haven't recorded any tracks yet, unfortunately, but I know that I should do that soon.

  • muito bom =D
