Evolution is a fact, decent with modification happens, we have seen it, we have even seen speciation. Also there are immensive amounts of fossil evidence and genetic evidence backing it up.
Higher teen pregnancy has nothing to do with sex education, the reason we have more teen pregnancies now is because of having greater social and sexual freedom,

@MANCKIE Actutually you come up with a hypothasis first, and then you test it against all available facts and figures to see if it is correct. If it does, then you have your theory, but it might not last for long when all the scientists try to disprove it. I'm not very familiar with all the names and times of every homonid, there have been frauds of course (for money or short-lived fame), but the majority are very real.

@MANCKIE With a fossil, you can determine a lot more than just 'something has died'.
Through comparative study, you can determine what animal it is, or wheather it is a new species.
By studying the geological columb in which it was found you can determine what era it is from.
Through radiometric dating, you can determine it's age.
Depending on how complete the fossil is, you can determine it's age and possible cause of death.

We know the earth orbits the sun based upon the scientific method, that is to say we can test this theory, observe it and repeat to make certain.
we cannot observe a fish evolve into a cow and then back into a fish. that is a religion. not based upon science. cows give birth to cows, dogs to dogs etc. evolution theory should be taught as a religion.

It's true, we cannot simply observe such extreme examples of evolution in the works, that would be an unreasonable demand, but we have the fossil and genetic evidence to support that they did. However we can and have observed many examples of lesser modifications, as well as speciation.
I'd like to know why you think this is a religion, it baffles me.

@MANCKIE Evolution does not require faith. Faith is when you believe something in spite of evidence, or in the face of contradictory evidence. Evolution is supported by a great deal of evidence and so does not require faith.
I Googled like you asked, and I found that what whales evolved from was a land mammal that might have had hooves, but was certainly not a cow.
This business with macroevolution and microevolution is an illusion. All Evolution is simply, Evolution.

@MANCKIE I haven't seen evolution, but biologists have. And these observations have been confirmed the scientific community. Most evolution of course, hasn't been observed, and that is where fossil and gentic evidence come in.
I don't believe the universe created itself.
The Big Bang is a rapid expansion of spacetime, not an explosion. It is often called an explosion to help the general public get a grasp, but it's not an explosion like a bomb.
I know what faith means. You don't seem to.
