  • Keith Pringle song struck a cord, because we need a truer sound for gospel today. today's music can still touch the soul, but its become to hip-hoppish and need to be more mainstream

  • I grew up on this song. I love it! TRUTH!

  • Thanks for much for posting. I been longing to see this recording by Keith Pringle.

  • This song still blesses me today!!!! This song has ministered to me down thru the years.

  • This song is sooooo soul stirring. A song of conviction, a song of praise, a song of mourning, and a song of awakening. My thought is that when Keith sang this song that there was something on his heart or he knew of someone else going thru something because he put his all in this.

  • I accidentally came across the posting of this song and it brought tears to my eyes thinking about all the memories of singing this in my choir so many years ago. If anyone can tell me where I can buy this album or where I can download this song from I would be so grateful. God Bless...

  • This song has been on my mind recently and just realized that this version by Mr. Pringle is the one I want. I can't seem to find it anywhere to purchase or download. Any suggestions?

  • Miss you Keith Pringle!!!

  • JUST WONDERFUL! JUST WONDERFUL!

  • THE ORIGINAL VERSION!!!!!!!

PRODUCED & BACKED BY THE LATE GREAT THOMAS WHITFIELD & CO!!!!!!

  • Let The Church say...Amen! A-Men! (one more time for the Holy Spirt...) AMEN!! For HE is The Keeper of my Soul...!

  • Ya'll stop going back and forth lol...I am also a Keith Pringle music lover. So, I can understand the demand for clarity concerning who wrote what. I am more impressed and delighted with His gift and How God chose an ordinary man to release His glory so fantastically in the earth. May God use all of us ordinary folks to do great things for His glory.

  • This song gives me chills. loooove it.

  • love this one and MARVIN'S

  • I love the voice of Earnest Pugh, he can rip and run all day, but my Lord it's nothing better than the originals! To God Be The Glory!

  • I love this and the Earnest Pugh rendition. This song gives me chills every time. Thanks for the post as it's always great to hear the original version of such an epic song. =]

  • What is that black circular thing on the right side with words on it?

  • @wjdub2007 In case u r not joking, it is a record album, not a 45, that would only be 2 songs (front & back) an album usually carried 7-8 songs (depending of the length of each song) on both sides

  • if i could sing, i would sound like keith

  • Does anyone have the guitar chords to this song???

  • I haven't listened to this in years. I had it on cassette tape back in the day or album, I forget. Anyway, I'm in tears right now. This song was in my head and I thought I'd look it up. Thanks for posting.

  • WOW!!! it's been years since i've heard this song (well sung by keith pringle) I've heard Tonex, and Marvin Sapp which both of them killed it no doubt, but Bro. Keith...WOW!!! ...I just forgot that this Brotha was ... WOW!

  • Man I gotta redo this masterpiece...!! What a great song with awesome dynamics and rhythm..wow!

  • he can sing ernest pugh sounds good singing this to.

  • My favorite version of this song...Love it!

  • Some songs just seem to be timeless; I think this song fits that category.

  • One of my very FIRST solos! I ended up singing this VERY song at my brother's funeral. One of my all time favories!

  • Respond to this video... yes you have thoes who have imitated this song buttt',,, nothing compairs to the way that keith pringle sings it he has gone through something personal and the Lord God brought him out alive so he sings this from his soul. this is personal to him. so stop getting mad because people like one version better than another.

  • This brings back so many memories. I remember as a very young child my mom playing this song on Saturday mornings worshipping while cleaning. I also remember at the church I grew up in the Emmanuel COGIC Mass Choir singing this song. The words remain true today "He is the Keeper of my soul". Yes Perfect Peace!!!

  • Thank you tdwh991, I remember this song when I was a young boy. Tonight it suddenly jumped in my mind. I've searched for this song so many many times before. but the closest I got was a live recording but tonight the original is playing, my eyes are watering and my pain is gone. Thank you again. Tonight God blessed me through you – (thank you Father, thank you for loving me).

  • @kennyedwards69 woah! that's a blessing to hear. and thank YOU!

  • How can I get a copy of this Album ?

  • Please post more songs from this album!

  • I'm soooooo glad you (whoever you are) posted this song. There are other recordings, but nothing like this one......nothing like this one. I'm almost in tears listening to it. Thank you for posting the original version of this song.

  • @gammadeltalee Thank you SO much. I also believe that Keith's version really magnified the essence of the song. Marvin's was okay, but it sounded like he was covering someone's classic...
