cool :) currently studying this at A-level. i liked the book alot, but why do people call it sick? It's speculative fiction; opposite to the real world, but based loosely on ideals from the real world =/ (totalitarianism-hitler and stuff)

I think you will find that it is mostly religious people who have the issue as it high lights the issues with blind obedience and how to keep people stupid, its very good film/story

He was taking Offred outside of the compound for a night away from ..."work" ..in his attempt to "get to know her better". Had to dress her up like a hooker though so no one would be suspicious.
