  • I've always believed in supporting local independent retailers, and revealing these pitfalls people are unaware of is so important to educating people about potential problems

  • @greenlightcoach Yes, we have to stick up for the little guys. I've been preaching this message to my students for years and I'm happy I could interview Conor on the topic. Thanks for your comment.

  • In that intro, Connor has the look on his face, "What am I doing on camera?" Boy I have had that look so many times.

  • @mikewattstv LOL, I'm sure Conor felt the way he looked!

  • This is a great interview and great information for camera shoppers!

  • @goodfinancialcents Thanks Jeff! Hoping to shift some preconceived ideas about the Walmarts and the Future Shops of the world.

  • Marlene Awesome as always my dear! That's me again with a new comment :) Vitoria

  • When it comes to customer service, product knowledge and passion about what they sell you can't being shopping with a local retailer vs. the Big Box. Well done interview!

  • @ThatInterviewGuy Thanks Michael. Most people thinks the Big Box stores are the way to go, so I hope my little interview convinces them otherwise.

  • Great interview Marlene. You both look very good on camera.

  • @EternalAdvertising1 Thanks! Truth is, we were both a little nervous but I don't think you can tell.

  • Thanks fopr all your info, its really helped me make a choice!

  • Marlene, great information and quality. I love your questions

  • Marlene...your preparation for this interview paid off. Looks like it was done by a professional.

  • @isitebuild Professionalism is my goal. Hopefully someday I can be on real TV!

  • I try to always work with independent retailers, so much nicer and better for the local economy. (and much more knowledgeable)

  • @tommyisastrategist I agree, the independent's seem to know their stuff because they use it a lot themselves too. Thanks for commenting.

  • Great information for us consumers looking for a camera!

  • @wendylynne2010 Thanks Wendy!

  • Great interview Marlene!

  • @MonikaRydz Thanks Monika! Great challenge.

  • As expected: Excellent! What a NICE, clean, clear interview. The lighting, the questions, and his answers were just perfect for whoever works in that field.

You were really good interviewing and he is such a great person to interview since he is so good on camera, calm and informative.

    Well Done Marlene!

    Vitoria

  • @WealthWithVitoria Thanks Vitoria! Hard to believe it was the "first" interview for both of us. I like interviews that stay on topic, so I prepared well and tried to keep it short so people would watch until the end.

  • Thanks Rebecca! Using a tripod and getting Conor to sit down really helped. Well, as I'm so short and he's so tall, I didn't really have a choice. I also tried to pick a good spot with decent lighting.

I thought of the questions ahead of time and gave Conor some ideas of what I was going to talk about ahead of time too, so that I didn't blindside him, as it was the first interview for both of us.

  • You are the best Marlene... What a great interview again. So clean. You asked some excellent questions that really highlighted why shopping local is good.
