Take a ton, I saw some online but they wanted me to add Calgon or Water clearlfiar. I like your a lot better, I also live in NY and there are a lot of horse farms around, I will ask them for some hair. Does hair go bad????

The terra Sigulata, do you get it locally or from a pottery company?

@TheSignGuy32 I make the terra Sigilata. I mix 1 3/4 gallons water, 1/2 tablespoon soda ash (could substitute sodium silicate) and 4 1/2 lbs Ball clay. Mix together well. let sit over night. siphon off water at the top and discard . siphon off middle layer and save (this is your terra sig) discard bottom layer.

you can also google it and find a ton of recipes. I just happend to have these ingredients, and it has worked well for me.

Hi Sue, I also enjoy Janicethepotters videos of her Kiln openings and glazes. Your videos was absolutely great I am going to try it out. Can you tell me where do you get the clip (which I can't pronounce)from??? Also what is the brand of the Raku Kiln that you purchased?? Thanks so much.

@TheSignGuy32 Thanks for watching! The kiln is a 'Paragon home artist kiln'. Its great because it runs right off a 120 V household outlet. Good luck!
