  • What about 'The Anna-Nicole Smith Show'. She is clearly one of the scariest things ever

  • Comment removed

  • these movies are classic

  • This sucks!

You can't put Alien on #7!!!

Alien is far better than all the other crappy movies shown in this video!!!

  • where is texas chainsaw massacre?

  • Ok, I am a chicken. Chucky scares me like hell. lol

  • my fave is definently the shining

  • I found the shining with Jack Nicholeson hilarious lol

  • U forgot Hellraiser, The Thing, and IT....btw, nice list :)

  • I can't believe how much I disagree with these... The Shining, and let the right one in are definitely in the list, but he neglected to mention "the hills have eyes, hostel, solaris (which was just creepy), the last house on the left, funny games"<---discretion, all those ones are very disturbing, and also some titles like " pandorum, the 4th kind, the others, and many more." come to think of it though, half of these were made after this vid was posted haha, but check them out, and msg me

  • I have got to question your ability to rate movies, when I see a top 13 horror movies list, which doesn't contain " Friday the 13th " or " The Texas Chainsaw Massacre ". There are so many others that were better deserved on the list, but those 2 formentioned movies, not being on your list, is an obvious indicator that you know nothing about Horror Movies! Friday the 13th has a massive following because it was the originator of Camper Slash. I'm highly grossed by your list. I mean Jaws..WTF

  • alien is the best movie ever made. it should be #1

  • FINALLY!!! SOMEBODY HAS A GOOD TASTE IN HORROR MOVIES! Psycho is by far my favorite horror movie and JAWS at close second. Oh hey! You even included Alien (My third favorite horror) and The Shining (my fourth favorite horror).

  • @connerspencern Thank you!

  • no podria estar mas en desacuerdo con esta lista, alien es ciencia ficcion no terror, y el exorcista es mejor que psicosis

  • most of these movies are scary but i cant stop laughing at horror movies when people die cuz ther so fuckin stupid

  • Psycho: brilliant One of the greatest Texas Chainsaw: laughable Exorcist: Boring Halloween: masterpiece Alien: one of the greatest movies evermade (along with Aliens) The Thing: exciting Evil Dead 1 & 2: best horror movie ever made Nightmare on Elms street: Creatively brilliant. 28 Days/weeks later: best filmmaking in a horror movie Night of the living dead: groundbreaking film Dawn of The Dead: one of the greatest films ever made Suspira: creepiest Ring: Scariest film ever made (jap version)
  • great list...but its too hollywood centric. what bout Jap horror like Audition, The Ring?

  • There not scary at all

  • Nr.6 whats the name on it? i realy whant to see it:D

  • I love the shining and all Stephen king's creations!!!!!!

  • Lol, today I bought a really good video version of 'Night of the Living Dead' today, good movie, and I watched this the same day.

Also, what did you think of the original 'Friday the 13th'? Did you like it?

    Please Respond.

  • @MovieMan9991 I enjoyed the original Friday the 13th...if I made a Top 20, it would have definitely been on the list...

  • @mdelar ok cool.

  • @mdelar are you filipino? cause i am.. :)

  • @kikay234 Yup and proud of it :)

  • WHY AREN'T THERE ANY CLASSICS ON HERE?!? WHERE'S MY LUGOSI, CHEYNEY, KARLOFF, AND PRICE?!? IT'S LIKE HE'S NEVER SEEN ANY GOOD HORROR MOVIES!

  • haha this is a sad list. maybe three of them where ok. tell ya what peeps. check out these 3 flicks....Cannibal holocaust, audition, salo ...these are some good ones...enjoy

  • @HuckeysWorld ichi the killer, visitor q, mordem are some others you might be interested in...

  • Chuck Norris, can nail them all!

  • @M4levolence yes, he can. (dont say he cant or he'll roundhouse you in the back of the head)

  • Its a great list so far, BUT THE SCARIEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME IS MISSING! Where is the american version of THE GRUDGE? This movie was so scary, I couldn't sleep the night afterwards, NOT IN THE LEAST. ANd I watched it with 21! That says something. The Takashi Shimizu, who made the Original, made his own movie better than ever.

  • @FSFilmkritiken The american version of the grudge wasnt scary, but it did freak the shit out of me. But the japanese versoin made me jump so much during me movie and that freaked me out even more XD

  • Excellent list ! I personally don't like zombie movies, so I would put Texas Chainsaw Massacre on 4....

  • Great!!!

  • I like the way you present the movies and you indeed know what movies to apreciate but can you please be less...how should I say?...girly? especially with that girly-gay laugh at the end of every vid. That allways makes me feel your not serious. Just shatters the interest you build/generate allong the vids. If you are gay that's ok but comming from a hetero....it sucks :)). Hats down for your work ;) [excuse the bag grammar. I'm a foreigner]

  • @BisonSauvage no problem, your point well-taken :) Thanks for watching!

  • Where is jason? jason was a very good horror movie!

  • 0:23

XD I love how u say bogey man

  • these are some terrible scary movies for the most part.... Psycho was more ridiculous than scary. Nightmare on Elm street should've been higher on the list... or at least in front of An American Werewolf in London... Psycho should be 13th. >_< lol.

  • Micheal Myers Rules

  • jaws aint a horror

  • @54321mitchell OF COURSE IT IS A HORROR MOVIE! It is the maybe THE Horror Movie of all time, its the father of all Blockbusters. It may not be the scariest Movie, but it think about that: In a time, where Horror Movies were kinda harmless and rare, this movie SHOCKED the people of the 70's. Many people say, they are afraid of sahrks, because of this movie. THIS IS HARD TO ACHIEVE.

  • No of those were scary, maybe poltergist, and the exercist was Hilarous!

LET JESUS FUCK YOU LET JESUSE FUCK U LET HIM FUCK YOU! LICK ME LICK ME!!!!! ROFL XD

  • ang pogi ni manny

  • @jannex12 Maraming salamat po :)

  • 13. Rosemary's Baby 12. An American Werewolf in London 11. Jaws (i like it more than most of these but as a horror it makes 11th place 10. A Nightmare on Elm Street 9. Night of the Living Dead 8. Poltergeist 7. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 6. Silence of the Lambs 5. The Shining 4. The Exorcist 3. Psycho 2. Halloween 1. Scream
  • @filmdude1021 Sorry. you had me going, then you lost me at Scream.

  • HALLOWEEN SHUDA BEEN 1ST ;o

  • friday the 13th part 6

  • @metallicsnakeblood : Yep/Surely one of the best 13th films. Part 5 not bad either.

  • where is the grudge 1 ... 2 and 3 are garbage but no.1 is japanese masterpiece!!!

  • and the hills have eyes 2006 is where?

  • @longlivestalin1 Nowhere, didn't like that movie!

  • @longlivestalin1 too intense and amazing for you ay? not like it? its gold!

  • @longlivestalin1 You joking right? Cuz if you think The Hills Have Eyes was scary... you are just a complete retard, that movie is gross not scary.

  • @longlivestalin1 you gotta be joking, that was just a pure bad movie

  • HERE IS JOHNY!

  • The Shining was freaky!!!!

  • SILENCE OF THE LAMBS! :D:D

    ALIEN! :D :D

    THE SHINING :D :D

    JOHNNY DEPP :D :D

    Loooove theeeeeeeeem<3<3

  • My fave horror film is texas chainsaw massacre but i havent seen any of these so i shouldnt judge :)

  • lol granny killer

  • After i saw Jaws, all i waned to do, is kill every single fucking shark

  • All of these movies are boring, their not scary at all.

  • Cool that they put in Night of the Living Dead. Great film.

  • awesome video and good choices! don't listen to those haters!

  • @falloutboyrox299 "Psycho" from Alfred Hitchcock

  • Twilight is no doubt the scariest move i've seen.

  • best sci-fi movie: ALIEN

best horror movie: The Shining ( Jack nicholson add libbed "heeeres Johnny!" and they kept it in the film)

  • Alien

  • The Ring scared the SH@T outta me.... way scarier than alien

  • TCM and FT13th not on here? bulsheet

  • the exorcist is the scariest one there :|

  • @SergeantSnail no, my dick is the scariest movie...

  • did you just say "schockmeister"? good list!

  • I disagree with some of his choices....and more importantly, he left out three of the greatest horror movies of all time: Suspiria, Videodrome and Hellraiser.

  • I thought Friday The 13th, and Texas Chainsaw would be on the list

  • I'm so sad that Pinhead, creepers, CHucky, leatherface and Jason weren't on the list

  • I was that my Friday The 13th wasn't on the list :(

  • hey manny great list and i really do agree with The Exorcist and Psycho being at the top but i really was suprised that Suspiria wasnt on the list have u seen it? if u havint u should its a GREAT horror movie if not the scariest and best :)

  • Hmm... I guess these movies didnt scared yiu at all .........try watching "The Johnas Brothers" !!

  • such old films... we live in the 2000's not 1980's.. but okey they're classics. but i want something that scares my fucking dick off. that makes me afraid of taking a shit.

  • This is one kick ass list here Manny. I wouldn't disagree with anything.

  • my fave horror/scary movie is jeepers creepers :D

  • lol jaws scary?? that shit makes me laugh... oh no a robotic shark that is friggin massive... "well i dont care people WILL swim this summer" fucking lame movie... seen it too many times... was only good the first 30 times.

  • Mahal Kita Manny!!!!!

  • @ZClutchZ lol...and mahal rin kita! Thank you so much :)

  • Don´t know where you´re from, but CHAPEAU! you got taste but more tha that... you know about what you really talk about!! congratulations. (english is not my language)

  • @Marlonbsas Thank you! I'm from the U.S.

  • hey!...r u filipino?!

  • @msflip89 Yes I am :)

  • can you update this list? Something like "best horror movies of the decade"? I'd just like to see your opinion.

  • @night7729 That's a great idea! I'll keep you posted and thanks!

  • @mdelar yeah no problem! I'm looking forward too it.

  • am I the only one who was not scared at all at psycho and the exorcist?

  • @fawful92 psycho didn't scare me, I don't know about the exorcist though, I haven't seen it.

  • this are all really good classics

  • exsorsice omg ur gonna faint

  • I agree with everything u said until the word "Psycho." The most overrated "horror" film of all time. it is the 2001 of its genre. Sure the shower scene was scary. But nothing else was! And then in the end, the narrator explains the main idea to you just in case you didn't get it - lame.

  • @SandBarAndYou I wasn't afraid of the shower scene.

  • films older than 1995--->BAD

  • excellent :)

  • personally i wouldn't add jaws or alien to my list, a horror movie should be about some random killer, not a shark or some alien

  • i have to disagree with two parts in this film. One being Anoes spot at thrirteen def should be higher and jaws. never scared me at all god movie not scary where is the thing

  • jaws is the best film ever!

  • hows psycho a slasher?? theres like no blood! the exorcist is scarier in my opinion

  • omg i love your accent

  • firstly this list is crap like most of the movies are old like a bible. i know i know classics and all thet crap, welcome to the present classics are old and eyesore to watch so add a new horror that at least looks real

  • Halloween Wss the Scariest

  • What?! EXORCIST IS NUMBER 1. Thats so racist...

  • Oh, good, you included classics.

  • Cool list, dude! Keep it up! Please also check out my video of my favourite Horrormovies. If you do, please rate and leave comments. :-)

  • Jaws fucked me up for life.

  • Jaws fucked me up for life.

  • @thesightbeyondsight Jaws never scared me.

  • So that's where the whole shower and music came from

  • @sonicdandude11 Yup...it's so influential that its impact is still being felt to this day...thanks for watching!

  • @mdelar have you seen a haunting in connenicut and i can't spell XD

what did you think of it

    i liked it

  • Hmm, your top three are my top three, but in a different order.

    3. The Shining

    2. Phsycho

    1. The Exorcist

All of them are amazing movies, of course :)

  • Hmm, your top three are my top three, but in a different order.

    3. The Shining

    2. Phsycho

    1. The Exorcist

All of them are amazing movies, of course :)

  • I must say, this is one of the best top horror lists I have seen in a very long time. The classics far outweigh the new remakes and half done horror of today's films. By the way Psycho is and always will be the best horror movie ever made.

  • @ledsteve Thank you! Have a great week!

  • evil dead 2 was a freaking scary movie, but very funny aswell, thanks for maing this list manny, gave me many hours of entertainment

  • @danihj86 You're welcome! Thanks for watching :)

  • @mdelar very nice!

    subbed :D

  • @Thisshizzleisbananas Darkness falls sucks lmao

    its not even scary

  • lol drag me to hell was horible lol talking goats =fail

  • love scary movies seen all of these movies

  • I remember my first post-Psycho shower like it was yesterday!!! hahahahah ooooooh, I didn't get very clean at all

  • Psycho?rosemarys baby?horror?muhahahahahahahahahah

  • alien SUCKZZZZZZZ. so badly. psycho and the shining both look awesome. the exorcist was kinda lame cuz its real but at thesame time kinda scary.

  • I love his accent! lol

  • really good picks-Psycho really is the best horror of all time,Hitchcock is a true genious,he created such tension without even showing any gory moments

  • The poltergeist was one of the dumbest horror movies ive ever seen.. That was sooo boring :-!

  • i think psyco is sooo boring! i fell asleep watching it!

  • clearly you have never seen stephen kings:" IT" that movie..... GAWD i watched it when i was 9 years old, it is without a doubt the scariest fucking thing i've ever seen

  • me encanto!!!

  • in all these films thr trying to play on your fears thats my thr so scary for some people

  • great movies though

  • can someone please tell which one is 0:44

  • that's Poltergeist...thanks for watching!

  • polterguist, i think thats how its spelt. the young blond girl died in real life years ago!

  • yeah poltergeist her name was heather o'rourke and another girl died both prematurely

  • That's a well-rounded list between gory & psychological scary movies. I would add "Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil" not for it's "bone-chilling" horror but because it's a true story which gives us a peek into a world of disturbing possibilities. Ditto for "The Believers" with Martin Sheen.

  • psyco is sooooo overrated

  • finally, someone else says it. seriously. The fact that the idea is explained to you at the end like you're some idiot who doesn't get it is what really kills it.

  • Anybody remember Carrie By Stephen King?

That movie was pretty corny, but the last moment made me almost wither up in my chair and die.

  • house of wax... mirrors? O:

  • @rocknrollporn The haunting in connecticut!!

that movie is frkn hell scary D:

I even cried and accedently groped my friend... (Y)

  • 1. The Exorcist

    2. The Silence of the Lambs

    3. Psycho

    4. The Shining

    5. Jaws

This movies weren't scary, are just the best horror films I've seen. Good mvoies, not scray. (well, the exorcist was somewhat scary)

  • jaws? wtf

  • im an 18 year old that cant take nothing seriously and im looking for a movie that can scare the shit outta me

    n e suggestions

  • @rocknrollporn The haunting in connecticut!!

that movie is frkn hell scary D:

I even cried and accedently groped my friend... (Y)

  • @rocknrollporn what scares you the most in particular? Then I can give you some good films to watch.

  • ermm i say chainsaw mascre and ermm maybee grudge of something... im the same.. there nothing tht reli scares me but i want to be scared lool

  • @rocknrollporn try paranormal activity, the entity, the grudge and white noise. greetz from germany

  • showgirls!.

  • im lookin for a movie that will scare the shit outta me but i just cant find it.

the classics have good scenes and i love the classics but their not scaring me and the newer 1s have storylines that r so unrealistic that theyre just a joke so if n e 1 has any ideas i would love 2 hear them...

btw evry1 go c planet terror cuz its the only movie that came close.

  • I'm exactly the same no films scare me much, old ones the effects arnt good enough so it takes the realism, and the new ones are soooo bad and the story lines are weak, however the one film that has scared me is Paranormal Activity. Try it out.

  • i have like all these movies!!!!!!!!!!

  • very classic,nice:D

  • come on where is friday the 13th?

  • watch the most disturbing horror films ever made on my profile in 1080p

  • @AbaddonFA

I did, twice in a week. It's good if you like knowing, feeling the character and some weird fetish of isolational death. I personally think it was kind of a waste of 12 hrs of my life.

  • hahhaha very good list

    HEEEEEEEEEEEERES JOHNNY hahaha

  • damn wheres the original dawn of the dead sure its not scary but it sure is a load of fun

  • well i think that we all can agreed in that jaws is scary... after that movie i cant swim in the ocean again

  • psycho is... the most terrifing horror movie of my life

  • Freddy should be first

  • :( no friday the thirteenth?

  • exorcist should be number 1, only movie that ever really scared me.

  • all the movies here are crap... :S

u want to see a real scary movie? watch Stephen kings - rose red. :S

  • OH, thank god IT wasn't included, I can watch almost anything, but clowns always scare me, even in the circus.

  • everyone has a different taste, but this is really not mine, not creepy enough beside "poltergeist" and "the exorcist"

  • Silence of the lambs should be first.. mind you though, it's more of a thriller but my favorite movie.

  • chucky is pretty scary too.

  • exercise should definitely be #1

  • my faourite is Drag Me To Hell the parking lot scene was so freaking scary.

  • ya that movies fucked up

  • really...i pissed myself with the ruler her mouth

  • an american werewolf in london????

    are u kidding me

  • the scariest movie of this year is paranormal activity but it didnt scare me that much cause im use to horror movies im just dieing to c pinhead
