  • @sabbathcrazy Hey bro, well mostly Pentatonic, but the "out" stuff is mainly diminshed Half-Whole step stuff, with a few diminshed arpeggio runs as well.

  • Great vibe and some mighty licks.

  • @SlikkTim Thanks for commenting man! It's an oldie video, but I still like it myself =)

  • @sabbathcrazy

Hey Sabbath! Well, Musicman is partly right, I am in the KEY of G minor, but I never use the Eolian (pure minor scale) in this clip. I use mainly G Dorian (which is a minor scale with the natural 6th). Apart from that I also use a lot of Half-Whole step diminished, and some chromatic ideas as well.

    Thanks!

  • grrrrreat!

  • mhm I will serach guitars with those pickups and try it to find out how good are those pickups.

    thaks for your suggestion .

  • I think he is using a G Minor scales

  • Well, if you wish to play mainly Metal I would say EMG's are fine, but for blues rock funk jazz and so on, they are very undynamic and sterile. I would only use them for metal, nothing else. And even for metal, I think the Bill Lawrence L500XL in bridge and the L500R in neck is far superior ( w w w billlawrence c o m )

  • it has very nice tone here. oo that is exotic series. i have hardtail but profesional USA and its different in tone

  • Well, I would say that all hardtails (with the same top-wood, thsi is Spalted Maple) would sound almost identical. The difference between the stock Duncan pickups and these original Bill Lawrence (Not Bill Lawrence USA) are HUGE however. Also, the tone is from a Zoom PS-02, which is very smooth and creamy. I would reccomend the Lawrence for these guitars if you play rock/metal, and P-90's in Humbucker size or Gibson 490's if you play Blue/rock.

  • Thanks for watchign guys! Indeed it is a Dean, a Dean Hardtail Exotic custom, Private Stash. It has Bill Lawrence pickups in this clip however.

  • its look like dean hardtail profesional USA. damn this is very goood improvisation

  • Great Job! I Love guitar improvs!

  • that was amazing!! not really a lesson, but still really great playing. that was a great blend of blues, jazz, and metal shred styles.

  • Cool style, but not much of a lesson... You'r just jammn', no talking about scales or anyting.

    But still cool...4 stars.
