  • It would be cool if you made a new stackable farm design that is easy to plant.

  • @BinklePlease I have one im working on :)

  • RIP Fence Bug :(

  • @BinklePlease Its not even needed now we can walk on crops :)

  • @xisumavoid We can?

  • @BinklePlease Yes :)

  • @xisumavoid (In response to your comment to @BinklePlease ). But jumping off of the ladder at the wrong height counts as jumping onto the crops, meaning you have a chance to destroy that piece of farmland. (Any ideas for a fix?)

  • @RoflZack Try holding shift when you land :)

  • do you have a minecraft server? :D

  • @TheEliteReaver click the green G in the top corner of my channel :)

  • hey u know u can walk on farmland without the fences now in 1.8 the fences did nothing it was a bug but then they implemented it in 1.9 and 1.0 hope it helps makes it a little more cost effective

  • @IzG0TI55U3S Cheers dude :)

  • Looks really great and compact!

  • @TheKrazyKomedy Cheers man :) The fence post trick no longer works :/

  • 1 floor of my farm gives me 12 stacks of wheat, and i used a lot less resources. Still good farm with an original design.

  • @xtended2l Cheers man :)

  • just built a slightly modified version of this design in my world, had to play with the torches a bit but works great!!

thanks for the really solid tutorial!!

  • @rlyosim Awsum dude :)

  • I call it... The Tower of Aggriculture.

  • @4RK4D14N Great name dude :)

  • Doesnt work anymore? when you walk on the plowed feilds it become all yucky now

  • @Hubbyxwifey Yea it got removed in the full game :(

  • Dude... I fucking love this design. I'm gonna build it right away!!! I salute you.

  • @Datron101 thats great :D and thank you :)

  • @xisumavoid Well, I built a 2 layer model and It worked as expected. I plan on adding more tomorrow. Thanks again :D

  • might there be a way to change it so each layer gives 48 or 64?

  • @Matsokune Yes but it would require more water sources and pistons

  • @xisumavoid would you mind testing this for me? if not then i'll just have to mess around, but if you can i'd greatly appreciate it :D

  • @Matsokune There is no need to test, It's totally do-able, i didn't do it that way in the first way because the design was very piston/redstone efficient. Just make the farmland area bigger and add more pistons with water sources and wire them up

  • this must be a pain to replant.

  • @THRMReactor I made a tower of this, not THAT hard to replant, but getting onto the plots is.

  • @TrocaderoKillen you could move the ladder forward one block but some drops will catch on it, Its tricky but if u get the jumping right it becomes quite easy

  • @xisumavoid Ok, thanks, I usually die atleast 1 time while trying to get onto the platforms, cause of falling xD.

But since you still have to replant it, i see no problem with them catching on the ladders.

  • Hello there (Lol)

    I am not anonymous.

    I do forgive.

    I do forget.

Don't expect me.(Going to the pub with the lads)

I'm lazy, and the mediafire link doesn't work. Can you just upload a schematic file?

  • @BritishDudesTUT does the link not work, or the file you download?

  • @xisumavoid the link...

  • @BritishDudesTUT i don't know what to say, it works for me just fine, do u have trouble with mediafire links? if so i can upload to megaupload

  • @xisumavoid Yes for some reason ALL media fire links dont work for me...

  • looks great but can you plant the whole thing with crops over(can you reach from the latter to the piston area)

  • amazing how much we think alike,,, love your vids...!! keep it up

  • I found making it 1 row shorter at the ladder side made it work just fine.

  • @m8harry Some of the drops will catch on the ladder like that though.

  • Hey dude, love the design but i cant get the water to work right with the latest pre-release. I have 3 waterless squares of dirt, right around the hole infront of the ladder (step 5). Love the tutorial and the design overall, but can you plz take a look with the newest pre-release, would love to get this working right.

  • @m8harry If they have changed the game mechanics for hydration distance then surely the ones furthest from the water would be affected. your problem is quite puzzling and i will see if it happens to me.

  • @xisumavoid Lol turns out i counted out the squares wrong, mine is the correct size per the tutorial and works fine.

  • @m8harry Glad you got it to work. i must make these things clearer in the future!

  • @m8harry Are you on pre3 or 4? I just built this on 4, and it works perfectly for me. Have you double and triple checked that your water source blocks are in the correct location?

  • @jbaglo im on 4, and I replaced the water blocks several times.

But ill give it another go and see what happens.

  • hey can i just have the world i cant get it to work

  • @ToXicRain74 I will upload the maps soon, check back and look at the description box

  • This is all very nice stuff Xis, why not try an animal farm or animal catcher next time?

  • do they stay tiled longer with the dirt on the fence?

  • @MrBiscuitCake they will stay tilled forever as far as i know

  • how does the light reach all the wheat?

  • @Minecraftinity Wheat has a required light level to grow. The torches will light up every block of farmland to that level or more

  • Another great video with an excellent tutorial. Thanks :-)

  • Another awesome video! Would the same concept be able to be used to farm nether wort?

  • @GDndFF I will investigate! Nether wort would be a good idea for my next tutorial!

  • @xisumavoid Perhaps a fully automatic cobblestone generator? like when the cobblestone is done it pushes out into a collection slot or something

  • @xPimpinPurplex yea i think i could do something like that, i will pull out the test world when i get home and have a look

  • my bad , i must have closed the video to early

  • @unexceptionalrebel lol now worries, maybe i should put credit earlier in the video

  • Comment removed

  • @unexceptionalrebel He did give credit. In the Credit section of the video.

  • great and easy-to make invention! gonna use it in my world :)

  • Nice job dude! I can't wait to build this in my world. Best semi-auto wheat farm I've seen. Keep up the good work :)

  • Can you make an animal handling mechanism? Like say after a baby animal drops down from your breeding cell, it would fall in a machine. One lever would crush it, one lever would release it, drown, lava, or just leave them to grow in there. I've had this idea for a while now, but i can't get it to work, can you try?

  • @xPimpinPurplex Like this? watch?v=AiGa5cSSmAo skip to 7:32

  • >:D i knew you saw the Etho video, from the posts

  • Another great tuttorial.. Nice trick with the fence posts.. didnt know that..

  • Another awesome video - as always, I'm jealous. haha. xD

  • Nice design I must say, but is it possible to use normal pistons instead of sticky ones in any way? Slimeballs can be rather annoying to come by sometimes!

  • @Nzill try replacing the pistons in different directions instead, like a gate, that restricts the water

  • @Nzill Yes it is, but you will need 2 sets of Redstone torches, one next to each piston, rather than 1 for both

  • @xisumavoid Might the water actually destroy those torches? Just wondering abit.. O_o

  • @Nzill the torches are above where the water is flowing

  • @xisumavoid Oh.. I thought you would have to place them at the level of the pistons... Oh well =P

  • @Nzill im sorry, you mean redstone torches, yea you will either have to sacrifice to blocks of farmland to protect from water, or rotate the redstone torches to the outside where they will be safe

  • @xisumavoid Guess I'll just try to find some of those damned slimeballs then! =P

  • @Nzill if you have a server i can pop on and show you what i meant, slimes can be a pain to find

  • first :d
