i know alot about cars being an engineer myself and at the end of the day the 135i will out preform the g37 in every category especially if you plan to modify your car

But if you want to talk about modding for HP, that's no problem...we can talk about that. Just search YouTube and you'll find a guy with a black G37 modded with a twin turbo kit making about 700 HP. He outruns a Honda CBR on the highway in the video. Yeah, it's fast and it's just a modded G37 coupe.

If ur gonna compare two cars you have to be reasonable, for 600 bucks you can have a 450hp 135i using JB3 chip etc. A twin turbo kit for a g37 is NOT 600 bucks, that is the only reason i said anything about mod for mod. at the end of the day the g37 has a bigger engine and it will make more hp than a 135i if they are both fully built

the average person wont put over 2grand in mods for either car

It is cheap to do, but Infinity still fail to do so. BMW knows that turbos make more Hp and provide a better gas millage, and your friends in Tokio seem to forget about that.

A few years ago infiniti made a comparison with the bmw 335i. They said why pay thousands more for a bmw when you can buy the inifinti g35 which has the same features for thousands less. As a previous Nissan SE-R fan, I gave the G35 a very close look as my next car. But in the end I bought a 330i. The G35 was really fun, easy to drift with the lighter rear weight balance and it was also really easy to light up the the tires. In the end, while both are very nice cars, I wasn't looking for a loud drifting car. I so I bought the 330i.

But if I was 21, I probably would have bought the G and mount cheap chrome 20" "duds".

335i is 3.0 litre twin turbo. G37 is 3.7 litre NA. If the G37 get a 3.0 litre too, it would also need to be turbo charged to keep up. Otherwise it would be called G30 or so. If the 335i doesnt have turbo, it would be called 330i like the previous gen. Just see the E46 M3 has 3.2 litre NA and produce 333hp. If that engine is turbo charged...

G has better exhaust sound, but BMW has better engine sound. We have a G and a BMW in the house, and BMW's engine sound always amazes me. I prefer true engine sound much more than exhaust sound since everyone can purchase an aftermarket pipe and it will sound well. But you can not duplicate the deep engine sound that's round a BMW engine.
