  • Actually ALL of my schnauzers are AKC registered. The AKC registers all of the colors..white, partis, chocolates, and etc. But, the Schnauzer club controls who gets into the show ring at Westminster and all the dog shows. They recognize only 3 colors: Black, Black & Silver, & Salt & Pepper. So all you ever see on TV, are those three colors. They have had a petition in Europe for over 20+ years trying to get the Schnauzer Club to allow the white schnauzer to be shown....to no avail.

  • i heard white schnauzers weren't "purebred with the AKC? is that true and if so why not they are supper adorable:D

  • I'd hate to think what kind of puppy farm these poor things come from. In response to the question as to whether there is such a breed as 'Toy' Schnauzer, the American Miniature Schnauzer Club's opinion would be no.

  • Love Love Love!!!! I have a 3 yr old male black and white that looks just like these adorable babies :)

  • If you investigate this with the AKC (919.233.9767), you will find that the Black and White Parti Schnauzers, Chocolates or Livers, Liver and Tan, Whites, etc., are pure bred Schnauzers and all registered with the AKC....in addition to the Standard Colors of Black, Black and Silver and Salt and Pepper. All Texas T's Schnauzers are registered Miniature Schnauzers with the AKC.

  • not a pure bred schnauzer NO WAY!!!

  • my dog is a schnauzer and maltese mix, and she looked EXACTLY like these puppies when she was a puppy!! :O
