Px3 Vegas SDS is the same as Px3 Vegas SD, but with a colored mylar. The clubs Vova uses in this video is the SD version. In later and new videos I've seen him juggle the SDS clubs (red).
As far as I know, he started with Renegades, but, well, switched to Px3 after some time. At least that what it sounded like in the video where he talks about clubs.
I think many manufacturers have "pro starter clubs" so this questions ie extremely unprecise. But as I said in the other comment, I believe he started with Renegades and switched to Px3 because the people who make them have better service; the clubs last much much longer, and they probably feel better, and are not as tough on your hands.

When I answered that question, I just googled "pro starter clubs" and got the clubs named exactly "Pro Starter Clubs" among the PX3 clubs. I didn't see such a name on other manufacturer's sites. Well, not that I looked for them there.

i think one of your coolest tricks with 5 balls is the one were you throw 4 up and they are all in a straight line..and they land in your hand and you go into a full shower ...pretty cool looking

Watching Vova and Olga's video made me wanted to learn how to juggle...and yes, I learnt, but I can juggle only up to 4 balls, and 4 not that good, but I'm practicing, and I like it ;) Anyway, I've started 2 weeks ago, so it's not that bad...lol

Thanks for the info on the balls. If you don't mind, another wild question - how much are the juggling pins? They seem to have a certain balance about them - the way they are able to "kick" them up. Are they heavy? Wood?

They are juggling beanbags. Vova's are made by Sport Juggling Company. Each ball is patiently hand made using Ultraleather fabric and is filled with millet.

Was that 3 years from when he started juggling or started practising 5 balls? And how long did he practise to get 7 balls and clubs? I think I'll never get that far, but I'm well on my way with 5 balls, nearing a 100 catches at best. Vova has been a big inspirer to me.
He tries to practice everyday. But sometimes he can't find time for it. So I would say he practices 6 days a week.

CD with the music for this act. Vova gave him this CD in order that he put it on his computer for the show. So this man put Vova's music on the computer and returned the CD back to Vova.

He is AMAZING! I can only say that...
Watching Vova and Olga's video made me wanted to learn how to juggle...and yes, I learnt, but I can juggle only up to 4 balls, and 4 not that good, but I'm practicing, and I like it ;) Anyway, I've started 2 weeks ago, so it's not that bad...lol

Thanks for the info on the balls. If you don't mind, another wild question - how much are the juggling pins? They seem to have a certain balance about them - the way they are able to "kick" them up. Are they heavy? Wood?

They're called juggling clubs. They are from like $5 to $50 each. Vova's clubs are the most expensive.

No. They weigh about 200 g (7 oz).

No, mostly plastic.

They are juggling beanbags. Vova's are made by Sport Juggling Company. Each ball is patiently hand made using Ultraleather fabric and is filled with millet.

No. They are filled with millet. But liquid filled juggling balls exist as well.

Was that 3 years from when he started juggling or started practising 5 balls? And how long did he practise to get 7 balls and clubs? I think I'll never get that far, but I'm well on my way with 5 balls, nearing a 100 catches at best. Vova has been a big inspirer to me.

From when he started juggling. He wasn't so serious about juggling then by the way.

He tries to practice everyday. But sometimes he can't find time for it. So I would say he practices 6 days a week.

Practice, practice and practice! You want too much. I think it took 3 years for Vova to get 5 balls solid. 3 years of everyday practice about 40 minutes a day.

That doesn't seem possible that someone of his skill level would take that long to have 5 balls solid.
The level of talent and work ethic to get to this level is awe inspiring.

What do you mean? Vova met Anthony Gatto first time in 2003 on the IJA festival in Reno.

Vova felt asleep at the wheel. His car flipped over and landed on its roof. Read details in Vova's blog entry "GPA golfer gig, going-away party, Lindsay, car accident".

No. It was a joke. Actually it was the Police Day in Russia and policemen rehearsed their piece as well in the same hall.
By the way Vova lives in the USA. He was in Russia in November 2006, when this video was taped.

Vova compiled this phonogram from the following pieces: the very first song (a few seconds) is Exorcist movie theme; the second one is "Chateau" from Matrix movie; the third - "Organ Donor" by DJ Shadow; the song that plays during the 4 club routine is "Runnin'" by Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G., Instrumental... and probably more, I don't remember.
