This game is called "Hexenküche" in the german release and is actually the first Cauldron game. This was the first computer game I ever saw, and I was an eight year-old boy. Game was released in 1985 on ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64 and Amstrad CPC.
(Answering from my other account). I was pretty good, but reaching the pointy tops in that "castle" was always tough. And the beeping sound that ball made for every jump was enough to drive one insane:D "Doink, doink, doink, doink, doya-doya-doooink!"
the "ball" u r talking about should be the pumpkin u r playing in the second part of cauldron, in cauldron 1 u play the witch, by the way i was even worse at that game lol

Spoooky old SID music for a frustrating but classic C64 game.

Strange...I used to play Cauldron a lot but I cant remember this tune at all:-O Maybe there were several versions of the game...?

don´t think so, but i altered the music a bit by producing a delay :)

One explanation may be that I was so impatient to start playing that I never got to listen to the intro:-) Also, I was only 9-10.
