I think the rythym has a tribal-feel. So far I'm enjoying the drum intro, it's different, but I feel it building. I'm liking the hard-hitting bass, especially closer to the end. I do dig it, the drumming in it is fabulous! I like the lead guitar coming in, it adds the depth this song needed. It's a simple song, more like just hangin out to jam, but you're right they do Rock!!!

@Progrock101 actually pretty much every beat he plays in this song is rock oriented style that travis plays often. from the tom "jungle" style beat at the beginning to the rim click cha cha style beat at 1:41, to the 16th note snare tom roll down fills that he does almost every time. these dudes rock, no doubt about it, but barker's playing can't be understated in how it relates to music like this. even his drum heads/tuning are reminiscent of travis.

Turncratz cites funk drummer Bernard Purdie as his influence. You can most certainly hear it in his playing as well.

There is nothing about Barker's style in Turncratz's drumming. Turncratz tends to play over the line more and utilize every single aspect of the drumset as an individual voice rather than playing straight ahead beats, which is more indicative of Barker's style.

Ir Barker was Turncratz's influence, Russian Circles would not be a good band.
