I tell them watch Van Helsing and see how badass that werewolf is. Who would want to be a vampire when you can be something that intimidating. The reason werewolves tend to appear more monkey-like in most movies is because originally, that is how they looked. Werewolves have short or no snout, no tail, and more hair than fur. What most people are looking for are Lycans, or lycanthropes. Lycans have the long muzzle, fur, occasionally a tail, and are in general, more wolflike in appearance. The werewolf in this movie is actually a lycan, which I find to be much cooler. Also, lycans share the rivalry with vampires, unlike werewolves.

The only fault I can find with the Werewolves in this are their weakness to Silver, that's a new age take on their mythological past. But then again, according to lore a Werewolf isn't as strong as a vampire, and these beats look like they'd destroy one. The transformation looks great too!
