  • very nice playing, very nice and really helpful reply to others,Tomo.i also not too much focus about what scale or mode i play as long as it works:)

  • Thank you so much. I know about scales, but I don't want to know! Play with your feel!

    Tomo

  • Haha, awesome. You look like you're really feeling the music.

  • Thank you so much! Check out my new cd "Pure" soon.

    Tomo

  • Could you please tell me what scales are those? Specially the Coda at 0:19. Cuz my I IV V Codas are starting to sound predictable. Much thanks and respect,

  • I don't think scales when I play.. , but you can think as much as you want while you practice. It's time to hit all wrong notes too. Please check triads over each chord and play I aug triads right before you go to IV chord. You can play V triad over V chord. Thanks.

    Tomo

  • Tomo, I honor you and your playing because it comes from a sacred place. Don't mean to get carried away, but I hope one day I'm able to play with similar soul n skill.

Live a long, happy, healthy and successful life.

  • Thanks for your kind words. That's great about blues... keeps me humble, no worry, no compare with others.... keeps me happy too. Let's enjoy the blues, music, keep live music alive!

  • What Picks is god for each style, What picks is good for blues Heavy or Thinner?

  • I use Pickboy Vintage Classic 1mm. Great for any styles.

    Tomo

  • picks are just a preference thing, you can play anything with any size of pick or thickness.. after that it's just taste.. but if you want to play faster stuff you can go for stiffer picks, because they don't flex alot and attacks the strings better..

  • Thanks. I have been using my Pickboy Vintage Classic. 1mm. I like this. Blues, jazz, funk ... sounds good. I hold my pick really light as if I am holding a paper.

    Tomo
