I had the raw emotion but I couldn't the grittiness and that bothered me, but someone called our band punk, and it kinda stuck...but my best friend the guitarest moved and the band broke up...

but, if the lyrics show rebellion, its punk. it could be country, blues or even rap, kurt even said, "Hip hop is the most vital form of music since punk."

Well, some of it's leaked demos that poeple converted to mp3's and junk, but that's a pretty small precentage of it.

If you want an actual RELEASED collection of demos then With The Lights Out is a good chioce, and Sliver: The Best Of The Box is the same concept in a smaller, more manageable package.

There's also the Outcesticide series.. but I'd be careful of that if I were you...

I've heard really good things about "Into The Black", but I can't speak from experience..

@manhuntruler2 hundreds of tapes, supposedly. Kurt and Courtney stored alot of their journals and tapes ad art in an un-used bathtub so that looters woulded steal it incase they were broken into. The bathtub backed up and flooded, ruining alot of it. I suspect that it has been stored somewhere by courtney and wasn't completely ruined.
