Ok so i've tried wheels from 58-80 mm in size. Get the ones where there are as little wheel spokes as possible. Mine breaks and cracks regularly, even the original wheels. 58-70 i can get wheels with flat profiles and harder durometer. Those are great for stability and balance. But once they get eaten, the metal trucks will grind into the ground on a turn. 80mm/80a+ is where it's at for long distance and speed. The speed is amazing, but you'll slip easier except on roadlike surfaces.
actually i have heard that you can replace ripstick wheels with regular skateboarding wheels, but i dont think i will ride the same because, ofcourse, ripstick wheels have a curve to them
Wow. Your really getting me interested in these Ripstiks. I ride a Colt Cannon Element thats hanging up on my wall for the winter... but i might have to purchase one of these beasts. YOUVE INSPIRED ME!
I wouldn't give up on that skateboard, but yeah, RipStiks are super fun to ride too. If your skate is hanging up due to winter, RipStiks are a great alternative for winter fun in the garage. You can have a lot of fun in a small space.
I rode the ripstick deluxe (it alot smoother turning than the normal ripstick) at Toys R Us the other day when are you guys going to post a video using the ripstick deluxe?
ive got a reallt good trik idea... ok u go into a tail manual and then u wiggle the back of the board like ur tryin to go... like a spacewalk in the tony hawk games... maybe u could get good at that and post a vig of it
hey ur stealing videos from ripstikusa

I always thought a shifty manual was basically a tailslide. I stand corrected.
