  • Nixon, you cock sucking son of a bitch!

  • wow, yeah, check out all that blinking at the end! How do you know when a Republican is lying...? (supply own punchline)

  • @njw3000 I've heard the phrase "How do you know a politician is lying? He's speaking."

  • President Nixon did play a major role in Health Care Reform in America, by creating our Employer Based System.

  • The founder of Pepsi,Don Kendall was a close friend of Nixon's and also a cia agent.Kendall encouraged Nixon to order the cia coup of Chile beause Pepsi had a large bottling plant there.Pepsi also owned large sugar plantations in Cuba.

  • Nixon's approach to Health Care came about in the form of HMO's- escalating costs & loss of human lives by denying care back in 1973. In 1974, Nixon came up w/the Comprehensive Health Insurance Act which would allegedly protect people after the catastrophic illnesses incurred by the HMO Act of '73. That's some universal health care...Ted Kennedy supported this bill but allegedly had no idea. ;-(

  • I hope is in hell. Incredible that this discussions take place in the oval office and still taking place, where the president that is elected by the people for the people works against the people.

Our republic is lost, the White House is nothing more than a symbol, because its occupants don't work for the people anymore. They work for the corporations and wall street (the elite, the 1% of the population). Sad very sad.

But like ROME , it will fall.

  • Look at what happens in ANY market when individual consumer responsability is removed.

  • ....and the Scam continues.

  • Nixon HMOs were privatized in greatest rip-off of public/non-profit assets. Boards and execs sold HMOs to themselves at ultra-low prices. Then quickly sold the HMOs at 3-8 times purchase price in public stock offerings. Reagan pushed these privatizations.

Asked where he would go for health care if Obama's HCR passes, Rush Limbaugh siad Costa Rica (which has socialized health care system).

  • Most Nixon HMOs were privatized in greatest rip-off of public/non-profit assets.

HMO boards and execs sold the assets to board members and execs at ultra-low prices. Then the new owners quickly sold stock at 3-8 times the purchase price through public stock offerings. These kind of privatizations were pushed by the Reagan administration.

Asked where he will go for health care if Obama's HCR passes, Limbaugh said Costa Rica (which has a socialized health care system).

  • Privatization?

    - Cost of healthcare in 1960 (before Johnson reforms): 5 percent of GDP. 75 percent of overall expenditures were private, mostly out-of-pocket. Most public expenditures were local, not federal.

    - Cost of health care in 2009: 16.5 percent of GDP. Almost 50 percent of expenditures are public, mostly federal. Out-of-pocket only 10%. Third party payers control the game.

    - Federal expenditures on health programs never in history above 1 per cent of GDP until late 1960s.

  • Most Nixon HMOs were privatized. Sold by boards to board members at lowest possible price for assets. Then quickly sold through public stock offerings for 3-4 times the purchase price. Greatest rip-off in public history. Would happen again.

Treating health care as a market commodity requires denying care to many.

  • Nixon was a puppet for the Bush family.

    Bay of pigs

    JFK murder

    RFK murder

    Watergate

    All connected

Cuban Watergate burglar Bernard Barker was identified by Dallas Deputy Seymore Wietzman as the man he found behind the picket fence on 11-22-63 claiming to be Secret Service.

  • @themeaningoflife38

Weitzman also ID'ed the German Mauser found in the Depository

What ever happened to Wietzman ?

  • @045781 Not sure how long he lived.I saw an interview on youtube where he was saying that he was "mistaken" about the Mauser.I think it was part of the CBS network special praising the Warren Report.Of course we all know that CBS television was founded by former OSS agent and psych warfare specialist William Paley.

  • @themeaningoflife38

Why would he say he was mistaken about the Mauser?

He did sign a sworn statement that is was a Mauser.

  • @045781 At first it was reported to be a 7.65 Mauser on all newscasts but then it suddenly became the 6.5 Carcanno that they claimed Oswald owned. The FBI had already decided that Oswald acted alone so Officer Weitzman was probably told to go along with it or else. Also interesting that a 7.65mm slug was found on the south side of Elm St.

  • @themeaningoflife38

Also Wietzman must have seen the way Roger Craig was kicked out of Police Dept. and had several attempts on his life and the bastards killed him.

All because Roger Craig did not go along with the lone nut lie.

  • Reagan was an idiot.Nixon was a fascist nazi and bush nut hugger

  • I just read Ron Paul's "End the Fed." Reagan listened too much to his advisers; a problem Obama now has, and a trap Bush fell into.

Bush did seem to experience a fall of hubris, feeling, as he did, that he was called by God.

  • @christopherlynnwest There is a reason when they get in office they all just bend over for walls treet and the military industrial complex.

  • @christopherlynnwest Obama is a wall street puppet. If you look it up, you will see Kissinger gave Obama his first job with Business International Corporation - a known CIA front. Our last President was JFK. Before that, probably Andrew Jackson. Reagan ... well, he did think outside the box. Just look at the Grace Commission Report, for example, and how it shows how the income tax we pay each year doesn't go towards any government function.

  • @themeaningoflife38 The problem with this tape is that it doesn't distinguish whether less care means providing fewer services to paying clients or reducing the amount of sickness in society in order to cut costs at the capital level.

  • @Imperativism Seems pretty clear to me.Nixon says "The less care we give them the more money we make".No mention of people taking care of themselves.

  • Ehlrichman? Never heard of him.

  • LOL, it's so reassuring to see firsthand the deep thought process that underlies our major national policy decisions:

"You know I'm not too keen on any of these damn medical programs."

  • omg blicking eyes show tht he was lying his ass off

  • look at all that blinking at the end there... lol

  • He was probably trying to hide his lying eyes.

  • Ronald Reagan in 1961 on the issue of medicare:

"Write those letters now. Call your friends and tell them to write them. If you don't, this program I promise you will pass just as surely as the sun will come up tomorrow. And behind it will come other federal programs that? will invade every area of freedom as we have known it in this country..."

  • "...until one day we will wake to find that we have socialism And if you don't do this, and if I don't do it, one of these days you and I are going to spend our sunset years telling? our children whit it once was like in America when men were free."

Sound familiar? - Reagan, wrong then; just as those fighting against significant health care reform are wrong now.

  • Laid out, heres where it started. My family 5 generations of pharmacist. Had private pharmacies in three towns. To this day we all discuss at pharmacy meetings the first pharmacist that accepted the insurance card was the downfall of the profession. Now they excerise decisions over staff and doctors. Thanx tricky dick. And people are worried that outside government would make medical decisions without profit motive like the insurance companies due. Give me a frikin' break!

  • Thanks for sharing that. Nixon was a monster.

  • good job thanks

    medicareforall (dotorg)

  • I like that you cut Michael Moore completely out of this. I don't think my conservative friends would watch it if they knew it was from sicko. ; -)

  • Yeah. The footage is good, but Michael Moore has made himself a divisive figure by being so condescending.
