  • its a training ad for there pilots so that they can practise landing on a carrier

  • this is a chinese navy museum at the navy academy !

  • Interesting the Chinese would consider making this into a luxury hotel. Then again I would imagine living in a land full of toxins bad judgement would follow suit.

  • I read this is some sort of amusement park.

  • holy shit....who ever was in charge of that boat must feel very dumb them giving the chinese all that time to build that around them...bet he had some explaining to do with his superiors.....FAKE

  • It's the decommissioned former Soviet aircraft carrier "Kiev" at Bagua beach, on the outskirts of northern China's Tianjin, August 16, 2011. China's first aircraft carrier luxury hotel, occupying an area of about 6,000 square meters, has entered the stage of internal decoration and will be opened this year inside the 273 meter-long and 53 meter-wide Kiev aircraft carrier, which was sold to a Chinese company in 1996 as a part of a military theme park since 2004.

  • It's a Chinese Military Theme Park with hotel and restaurants.

  • stupid americans thought that chinese aircraft carriers cant fly

  • infantrymasterWIC needs to stick to killing people.

  • THIS IS ORIENT GREEN PARK , CARIER IS MADE OF CONCRETE

  • Those of you wondering how it got there: Simple. The Chinese didn't use helicopters, or bulldozers... One day, two-odd million of them got together for a picnic, and when they were done, they picked the damn thing up and walked it over. Yessiree, the Chinese are the Myrmidons (ant people) of Greek mythology, come to life.

  • time for the world largest helicopter!

  • i'm guessing that whole area can be flooded. they brought it in somehow, and I'm not thinking dozens of helicopters. or built it there as a replica to honour a retired ship?

  • they will probobly airlift it out with about 100000000000000000000 helicopters. hahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • they have made it a lot nicer since this video, they have added a sub and a bunch of russian knock-off planes

  • Dunno if it's the same one shown here, but if you use the magic of google you can find articles about an aircraft carrier in China being converted into a hotel

  • It's a real carrier converted into a museum...

  • maybe it has jets and can fly?? or transforms into a robot??

  • GE ship sim game

  • . It is in Oriental Park a China National Defense Museum.

  • to be honest I thought it was real, but now nevermind. If it was, what's the point of it if it can't move around too much. even if it was real, there would be a canal to let it sail out to sea.

  • I believe its used for training.

  • @sw4rfega It's literally a casino...

  • Hmm, plenty of Racists still in the US it seems (if the comments on here are any Barometer).

  • Its China's version of an air force base or they are waiting for sea levels to rise from global warming.

  • i think they are expecting somthing...........like us sinking billions in Solar panels..i think the government has a plan and like Mushrooms we are kept in the dark and fed a bunch of bullshyt..ppl do things for a reason..not subconsiencely..plz just stop lying to us..we are not stupid we know whats goin on, 1 day you will see..

  • yeah it is real and they place also a submarine. but why? they place it there? maybe just a training facilities.. no one knows?

  • I guess when the chinese copied a AIRCRAFT carrier no one told them its not a AIRCRAFT

  • Yeah we OWN this fuckin pond...total superiority......Hostile catfish of the port bow sir.....depth charge the fucker!!!! yeah!!!!

  • This was featured during an episode on a chinese reality show, it was a theme park.

  • Smart chinks....aint no one gonna jack that carrier.

  • @Dollymix001 U dumb fuck that's built in concrete I have been there. inferior mind.

  • I know they made two and one of them was a wooden one in land used just for training. But that doesn't look fake. At the same time I understand it has undergone two sea trials ?? I might be wrong. The video confuses me. Utter mind fuck.

  • It is a full size replica, made of concrete, and is a military museum in the National Defense section of Oriental Park near Shanghai :)~

  • @KungfuFr0g Nah chinks are just fucking dumb

  • It's probably a casino.

  • @ShaniqaPikes It's a mock up of their aircraft carrier, they use it to do training exercises.

  • Uh, thats for display, I know because I've been there. It's a rather nice tour.

  • The problem is that it's more likely to be used against Chinese dissidents than an invading army. (No one want's that country anyway.)

  • china's practising because the cant build an aircraft carrier that floats LOL

  • for those who don't know, this "carrier" is entirely made out of concrete (a building, per se) following the looks of Nimitz class. It is an amusement centre for kids, summer camps and stuff. I am Chinese and this "concrete carrier" thing has been a running gag on Chinese military forums for years (came out around 2007 I believe)

  • @brabanter3368 WTF? It's impossible to put a port under ground!

  • if the chinese can build a fleet of SSBN (nuclear) subs in their naval dockyard thats actually underneath a mountain.Thats right, its only been recently discovered that those "dumb chinese" arent so dumb as ppl assume. They can put to sea a SSBN nuclear sub thats submerged before it leaves its under ground or (under mountain) port meaning its Never seen by US spy satelites they will have a bigger navy than the US in less that 10 to 15yrs

  • that was the training facility one, not the real one.

  • they did buy an old ukranian?? aircraft carrier and used it as an amusement park display, think this must be this.

  • easier to dig it out,not far from water, enemies might be sloppy and only be watching the harbor not 1-2 km inland\

  • It's probably a training area.

  • @eyeinidas i lold irl

  • a testament to the driving abilities of asians

  • @dzimm777

comment of the year, even though it is a training facility.

  • Spending time and money just for that ? China really want FACES so much. they could not build the real one even fake is ok too...oh come on....

  • @moistfaucet It's a museum. It's amazing to see that so many people have really really strong feelings about buildings...

  • @ kopellhinex the last 5 military videos I watched u posted that comment on. SHUT UP COMMUNIST.

  • yea but i bet they could dig it out pretty quick

  • @SoloArriaga Why dig if they can just flush the area with a man made tsunami??

  • The only stupid thing the china folk do, that is stupid, is finance americans

  • moron, it is a park,

  • Uhh..pppfffffftt....hahahahaha! oh my goodness, its a closed lake, how would an aircraft carrier get in there in the first place?

  • It appears to be an aircraft carrier training facility similar to the US nuclear submarine training facility in Arizona. The navy has a mockup sub partially buried in the desert sands in which squids train in maintenance and some electronics.

  • Oi oi, children, easy easy. Both of ya need a time out, whether your an adult or not...

This is a funny video though. Thanks for the comments clearing it up as a museum, or I woulda been confused. The chinese never struck me as stupid.

  • LOL, that place is near my house, been there before. Uncle works in the military.

  • @wanxinmike this is not a military ship. Or base. Or anything military related. Its a museum.

  • Like if you think china looks at this and says "Stupid Americans thought that it was real"

  • @TurkSuryani Are you trying to be funny or serious?

  • @TurkSuryani Maybe some stupid American civilians think this is a real Chinese carrier but I doubt the CIA/MI6 are that easily fooled mate lol. They have access to advanced satellites/high quality espionage (just check out the Iranian scientists getting bumped off as we speak) and it's kind of obvious, even to a small child that a country isn't going to place a carrier in a lake hahaha

  • It's a building that looks like a ship.

  • in the 80s they screamed japan now they scream china, economic partners are vital, encourages growth and inovation. would you see us go the way of U.S.S.R. young blood is always stupid blood.

  • In Soviet Russia, aircraft carrier lands on you!

  • for those who dont know:

this is a SHIP disguised as a navy museum.

  • @derpotni3riots It's the other way around, genius.

  • Sure thats not the "Kirov"..now a tourist attraction as russai could afford to repair it financially or politicly

  • China's first aircraft carrier will be stationed in a suburban area on a local fishing pond.

    Lmao!

  • @jayoung472 yep welcome to china where the most useless crap in the world is made

  • @jayoung472 only one of 2 in asia, only 1 of 2.

  • @jayoung472 - YOU SHUT UP STOP ASKING QUESTION AND GET BACK TO WAWK

  • Training

  • Would you mind searching for that space ship from the planet Zork that landed in eastern Siberia?

  • They had a mock up of a full size carrier on the evening news, they are brand new to the air craft carrier....Training is what this sight is about...

  • thats chinas 3rd naval fleet........they are considered the best in that region.......

  • LOL at the poster dude

  • so, how long did you spend looking for this on google and to only find a tourist attraction?

  • LONG LIVE CHINA! greeting from Pakistan.

  • Its a USSR Kiew class turned into a museum . I think she used to be the CCCPK Minsk

  • how do you know that china hasnt got these ships scatted all over, lets face it, most parts of the country are flooding, makes sense to build few carriers awayfrom each other in little resevoirs that will eventually burst in to the sea. i think china know what they are doing some how

  • chinese have weird tourist attractions symbolizing their new found strength & influence which in comparison to their previous 100% subservience to their own leader-gods/brits/russians etc, is a good thing. They are however building themselves into a bubble which makes dotcom & wallstreet precum in comparison... google deserted new cities they build with revenue from junk mfr to show production. (FYI carrier is concrete)

  • @DANimalicious

when China's housing bubble bursts it is not just China that will feel the stress

  • What kind of total, complete, stupid, moronic, idiot, actually believes that the Chinese are "stupid" enough to build a carrier kilometers inland? The youtube kind apparently.

  • Man the Chinese copy anything, even aircraft carriers. But you can't copy everything just by looking at it.

  • I think they built ti there when the image was taken. Then they disassembled it and built it at the sea.

  • @TheHHliu That is possible, but they would build a channel to move it out to the sea.

  • remember you were mistreated by europeans made fun off called ALIENS & SMELLY & WEAK people

now they NEED YOUR MONEY all of a suden you are GOOD people WICKED EUROPEANS will take the clothes off your body these are GYPSIES and have no shame .. KEEP CHINA RICH or you will have no place in the WORLD just like we MONGOLS & MOGHULS lost EVERYTHING to europe & THEY become GREAT & GREATEST

ONLY A 'FOOL' PARTS QUICKLY FROM ITS MONEY (ENGLISH SAYING) dont be fool EUROPE WILL NEVER HELP YOU NEVER

  • @moghuls keep china rich ? or you will have no place in the world ? dude china is completly davastating our europe economy, and i like my land, you think europe is not ,,a place in the world,, or what ?

  • OMG ITS A FLYING AIRCRAFT CARRIER!! WE'RE DOOMED!! :P

  • It is a casino, it is a tourist attraction, NO! IT IS A FUCKING TRAINING PLATFORM.

  • Yeah it's a hotel or something shaped like the white barbarian's Nimitz class aircraft carriers. I'd say it was built more for satellite tracking development for their anti-carrier target detection, tracking and targeting.....

  • FOR THOSE WHO DON"T KNOW:

THIS IS THE CHINESE NAVY MUSEUM. IT IS NOT A SHIP. IT IS BUILT TO LOOK LIKE A SHIP, BUT IT'S A BUILDING WITH BRICKS AND CONCRETE.

  • @donfully I have read in some blogs that it can be used for training. Not flight training but all the other things. Any truth there?

  • @therichardking4242 I dont know if there is any truth in that since I haven't read such info. If I have to make an educated guess, I would say I doubt it since the internal design is built like a museum instead of being representative of a real carrier. Therefore, it would be impractical for training.

  • @donfully It looks like any other large display hall from the inside.

  • Actually it's what the tittle said:

It's really smart to use a SHIP CARRIER as small military Air Base... thing about it. You don't has to build the base. You have THE BEST living condition and Fast response in a carrier... You occupy only a fraction of space to get it done. and you ISOLATE the Base in a small lake or swamp.

VERY VERY SMART MOVE FROM CHINESE

  • @alexjorge3

Using this as an air base is ridiculous since a carrier needs forward speed into the wind to make it possible for aircraft to take off.

Even with the steam catapult aircraft wont reach the proper take-off speed in time by the end of the deck.

I suppose you can use it to fly helo's and VTOL aircraft, but you could use a (cheaper) school yard for that same purpose as well.

Aircraft carriers are insanely expensive, that alone makes your comment nonsense.

  • @WishingForSerenity its not even a carrier, its a building shaped like one, u can even see its not sitting in water.

  • @alexjorge3 not the best living conditions at all... I agree with WishingForSerenity. Everything you said is absolutely absurd.

  • @alexjorge3 No. Just no. China doesn't even have a real navy carrier yet. Why waste one sitting inland. It would be cheaper and easier to just build an airfield. Carriers have good living conditions COMPARED TO OTHER SHIPS IN A NAVY but not anything like land based personnel facilities. Carriers are good because they PROJECT POWER. sitting one in a lake as a base is pointless and inefficient. Even two catapults couldn't launch aircraft nearly as fast as one good runway. Your argument is shit.

  • @sameth1103 Actually my dad was present when Varyag (China's first carrier) launched into sea in Dalian (hundreds of miles away from Shanghai) months ago. Your information is so outdated man. I don't know how this video is made, but Varyag is certainly not in Shanghai at the moment.

  • but we can also sprinkle ur ice-cream by saying its a mech like something u see in transformer, when its in bot form it wield a pole arm sabre and banners coming out of its back, and droids orbiting it as shield to protect if from fire powers

  • its a military educational facility there's also a replica of a submarine next to that and yes it also became a tourist attraction destination. its kinda of moronic of u to think that a culture that wrote "the art of war" a few thousand years ago build a freaking submarine and aircraft carrier in a lake.

  • In my eye, you are a dumb person to believe this as real.

  • only an idiot would think this was a real sea worthy ship.

  • dumbasses, this was a prototype on which theyre sailors and captains can train on that prototype and getting prepared and ready for the built one

  • @13elsyd13

the built one, you mean the actual one right? china has never "built" an aircraft carrier, only bought 1 from russia lol

  • CHINA IS THE RICHEST NATION IN THE WORLD,AND THE STATES MUST LICK THEIR VERY CHINESSE ASSES,TO KEEP ON EATING,JA.JA,JA.....

    i LOVE CHINA

  • @awake2012nibiru you should be well firmiliar with rich people getting their teeth kicked in

  • @Crawler403 I love you too!,looser!

  • it's not a real ship, but a mock-up of the real thing for training pilots.

  • actually one of these carriers are a tourist attraction, and i believe the chinese government has enough money to waste ( if they wanted to)

  • Another chinese product...... not reliable....and doesn't work

  • @thedynamide yet, your country still supports china , ( as with the rest of the world) Your countries main import : guess who?

  • @Kleeeenex1 yup coz it's only china who can produce such large quantity of rubbish products.... which can be used for just meeting requirements.. still not reliable...

  • @thedynamide why waste money on trash then? lol? seems like your countries smart enough to waste money on trash.

  • @Kleeeenex1 hmmmm that is why China is still in the game..... soon it will be over.

  • @thedynamide maybe you should stop buying it and make it yourself jackass.

  • @derpotni3riots well our our govt. doesn't allow it... we make 'brains' dickhead.. world knows it... and admires it... we give ideas to people to be creative like Steve Jobs... he was drug addicted before he came to India... and after he changed the world.... as all say.. no product can beat a smart brain...Jerk!!

  • @thedynamide china owns your country jackass. pay attention

  • @derpotni3riots ohhh dreams....

  • @thedynamide Idiot. 77% of American products are transported and made in China. It's only recently when they made their FIRST 100% American-made house.

  • @SpankAgoose U chinese shitholes... u are in business coz of ur unethical business strategies... u don't have brands to sell.. u just copy things... u don't follow international trade rules...but copying things.. and creation are two different things.. that will take you to the bottom soon...

  • @thedynamide I'm not a Chinese you Indian dickface. I just hate kids like you who talk shit on the internet who's obviously don't know what they are talking about.

  • @thedynamide Ok. Have fun, granpa!

  • Dureing WW11 the Brits had dummy planes and paper mache tanks and landing craft positioned so they appeared to spearhead the D-day invasion into Calis instead of Normandie and it worked. The Germans were fooled where the troops would arrive in France. How do we know the Chinese arnt yanking our chains with a model ship. I saw the Russians do this with merchant ships dureing the cold war in the Med while I was pulling sub tender duty in the 70s. Phoney antennas bristling with dummy armarments

  • @RetroFishman Wow I never knew that!!!

Was it done by the war-magician I remember a documentary on a British army officer who was a magician before the war and he created illusions and fooled the German army during the North Africa campaign.

  • What type of Nimitz bait were they using?

  • chinese noah's built an ark

  • @TOMCRUlSE

    haha

I bet it won't float on flames though.

  • The chinese have aircraft carriers that can walk on land.

  • ccp has more than 300000 internet propaganda dog, its famous things (its call 五毛党 or 50cent army, etc), ccp`s more than 300000 guy is working everyday 24hours everywhere internet, they deceive their chinks and world people too, they are making fake comment everywhere internet, even youtube too, those ccp`s propaganda dog is try to operate pablic opinion, i can see so many those dogs in youtube, if you go any chinks video, most of chinks commentator is just one of 300000

  • it is a practis landing stip for there pilots . was on discovery channel 2 weeks ago

  • This is a theme type park; "Oriental Land". Location: N31 degrees 06' 15.00" (approximate) and E 121 Degrees 00'50.4" (Precise per GOOGLE EARTH). Not a symbol of stupidity, but a monument to Chinese self-superiority concepts.

  • The chinese are testing several combat aircraft with naval capabilities, and building an aircraft carrier and modifying another aircraft carrier purchased to Russia.

  • its a theme park

  • hahahahah so funny that drunk person..hahahahhaha you are searching penguins hahahaahah. global warming and penguins hahhahaha..it is sure that you are drunk..call cia to help you finding your lovely lonly penguins hahahah.they need you..

  • It's actually a hotel built to the same dimensions as a United States Nimitz-class carrier. Why might you ask? How about TARGET ACQUISITION PRACTICE ?

  • It's cheap to run your factories electrical and heat needs from an old Russian nuclear aircraft carrier and have a corporate landing area.Hell fine sense to me and why dont the decadent west do such things instead of just scrapping everything?regards peter

how it got here?hum bit by bit Russians have big helicopters and anti gravity pads

  • Is this a real carrier or a mock-up for a park exhibit? I know the Chinese can build real carriers, I'm just asking because I can't figure out anyone could get an AC to that location.

  • WTF lol 0:11

  • FAKE!!! chinese have the an old tibilis class carrier bought to russia

  • @mauricioalfredo83 What? An old Tibilis class? what? Bought to Russia?

  • I have watched this video 2 years ago .Now I click into it by chance - -"

    . . .wordless

  • This thread has been going on for a few years now. I haven't taken the time to read too many other posts to see if anyone else has researched this. I did find this interesting and had to see it for myself. I did find the aircraft carrier .. and it is landlocked .. in a park .. China's Oriental Land Park .. along with a submarine and other military items. The park looks very beautiful from Google Maps. The park is located along the Eastern Shore of Dianshanhu Lake , West of Zhujiajiao. Peace

  • Look at what's happening now. Google and read "are america and china preparing for war"

  • @Bobzeedo Why are you commenting on every video with this same mess?????

  • How in the hell did that aircraft carrier got stuck there?

  • @SilentEagles it didnt i saw a artical online, china was err building or modifying that aircrate carrier so there is somekind or secret tunnels or passways or something...

  • THE CREW CANT DEFECT !
