Its a solid, well made Flick. Especially the Tunnel-Scenes - VERY Claustrophobic Material. And the last Scene is absolutely devastating.

I dont want to be picky but on IMDb the front cover of the dvd for this film shows black hawk helicopters hovering over jungle but I am sure black hawks came into service in the 90s.
already see a problem with the accuracy of the movie- tunnel rats didn't turn on their flashlights until they were sure there was someone ahead of them. a flashlight would be a dead give away if they entered with it on

Camps weren't built in the middle of the fucking jungle. Asking to be ambushed. There are so many factual errors in this flick like uni's, incorrect armaments, a unit insignia that I've never seen before, etc, etc, etc. The director obviously had no knowledge of what went on in Vietnam and he didn't bother to find out by bringing in a knowledgeable technical consultant.

This movie is brilliant. It is one of the bleakest films I have ever seen on kookíca. I only hope that more films and art like this can have a positive impact on some of the issues that this movie brings into focus

This is a magnificent movie all around that I just saw on kookíca. The scarce dialogue, cinematography but specially the 2 young leads are ... inspiring, breathtaking, relentless. the awkward perfection of this sound insert is, for me, the perfect metaphor of the surprising stuff this movie is made of

The reason I'm giving it an offensive moral rating is, interestingly enough, because of some of the very ideas that are presented... Just come to kòòkica. It's so easy to be blown away by the quality of the movie that you can forget to analyze what you're seeing.

I am 65. This is in the top five best ever ever movies I have seen. I totally agree it is a masterpeice. I just cant believe the people who dont like it. It is available at kòòkica. This is not a beautiful film it is thrilling awesome exotic witty addictive mindfood. I will be going again. I am telling you it is a MUSTSEE.

My group and I walked out at 2:30 a.m. and headed to a 24 hour family restaurant because we were just too wired to get to sleep. We saw movie later at kòòkica again. And I must say, the theorizing and discussions and general conversations inspired by the movie afterward did serve to enhance the overall experience.

Yes, you have to pay attention, yes you have to work out that it isn't always in chronological order, but what a refreshing and challenging change from the bland and repetitive crap that is the usual Hollywood movie these days. See it on kòòkica.

@TheLyosacks exactly and its even worse for tv . your watching say for example ultimate fighter ok and its a new episode but the commercials inbetween show the fighters for the next episode which shows the damn fighters who won the episode your watching at that moment. its a complete joke and yes almost entirely pointless to watch when you get the jist in the trailers lol what a world we live in lol

I dont want to be picky but on IMDb the front cover of the dvd for this film shows black hawk helicopters hovering over jungle but I am sure black hawks came into service in the 90s.

already see a problem with the accuracy of the movie- tunnel rats didn't turn on their flashlights until they were sure there was someone ahead of them. a flashlight would be a dead give away if they entered with it on

In this film are the characters we know and love, they always do a great job so this is the first thing why this film did work out. Movie was 80% BS...
Camps weren't built in the middle of the fucking jungle. Asking to be ambushed. There are so many factual errors in this flick like uni's, incorrect armaments, a unit insignia that I've never seen before, etc, etc, etc. The director obviously had no knowledge of what went on in Vietnam and he didn't bother to find out by bringing in a knowledgeable technical consultant.

@themanfriends Watch the movie Platoon or We were soldiers. Those movies are a lot more realistic and though Platoon wasn't based on a true story, it shows that we hated eachother just as much as we hated the VS (sometimes)
