  • This review was so usefull to me, I didn't know anything about these Ecotools brushes and now, I know everything about those. I want to buy all the kits :)

    Thanks for this video.

  • I totally agree on everything you said about the eyeshadow kit you first reviewed. It's like all of the brushes are labeled wrong because almost none of them works for what they're labeled.

  • I really want those brushes

  • i have watched other reviews of eco tools and i am really interested of buying them.. Please canu do a reviw of the foundation and stippily brush please

  • I notice you mention your ecotools getting dirty (as they do) A good tip is wash/clean your ecotools in Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo. It's just right for cleaning your ecotool makeup brushes because it's gentle like they are. That's what I use for cleaning my ecotools.

  • I'm a beginner and this has helped me a bunch! I am using wet n wilds walking on eggshells and the brushes suck and are hard to clean!!! I have a blush brush that I use from Eco tools and I absolutely love it!!!!

  • OMG I am in love with these brushes Perfect for beginners

  • I'm a beginner at this makeup stuff, and have watched other youtubers talk about the Ecotools mineral set. Would it be a wise move to purchase the set?

    Thanks for your input!

  • you have beautiful skin!

  • I was fixated on her eyes. LOL. As an asian I literally paused the video to ponder on her wearing contact lenses, then when I was sure it was totally natural. I drooled. Lol kidding, just envying :P You have beautiful eyes.

  • Ohh nice! I was wondering about eco tools. I always see them at Wal-Mart .. hmm. maybe I'll try these out! If the hubby will buy them for me heheh

  • Thank-you so much:) this was SO helpful!!

  • You're so pretty!

  • great video!!! cuz i was really confused by all these different sets...this really helped me, thank you so much!!

  • I love the Eco Tools! They work so well, are inexpensive, and--best of all--are cruelty-free (the MOST important criterion!) and made of recycled and sustainable materials! I enjoyed your review!

  • did you see the new Eco Tools Limited Edition Beautiful Expressions Kabuki Set 4 pc? I was thinking of buying this new set because it is a limited edition..do u think it's worth it?

  • @franhtona I was wondering that too

  • Thx a lot for this review! Only one thing.. The kabuki from the 5 pieces mineral makeup brush set is actually called "baby kabuki" so that's why it's so much smaller:)

  • amazon.com great place to buy them!

  • i can't wait to order these (: xo

  • oompah loompa

  • @BalletTapJazz that was rude of you to say

  • Thank you so much for this thorough review! =)

  • I love this review, and you remind me of Ariel<3

  • amaazing review! gettting the eye kit, bronzer brush, and the retractable kabuki!

  • Thanks, your video helped A LOT!!! :))

  • you sound like rachel mcadams!

  • oh in the 5 piece brush set for mineral make up they change the cosmetics case so its even better :D

  • great review!!

  • you are missing one of there brush sets

  • The stuff is expensive, in Asia. Would you recommend any good brushes that are freakishly cheap? Thanks, you helped me loads:)

  • answered all my questions even when its nearly a year later! Thank you so much!

  • @KimberleeButler No problem! Thanks for watching :D

  • Luv ya!!!!

  • What foundation do you use

  • Between the retractable kabuki and mini kabuki which would you say is better? :)

  • You use a blush brush for foundation?

  • i really hope EcoTools would make more full size brushes T__T

  • you are gorgeous!

  • I feel like they just named some of the brushes wrong. For example, the "blending" brush was shaped as a highlight brush. The "highlight" brush was shaped as a blending brush. but good review!

  • Thanks for the review. I was looking for a good review on these brushes. I have a question, do they work good with non-mineral make-up as well?

    Thanks

  • Excelente video!!!! Saludos desde el Salvador.. :)

  • could you do a review on the kabuki brush by ecotools??

  • the colour of your hair and skin reminds me of faith evens

  • I love the ring you are wearing. Did you order that online by any chance? I would love to have one. Great review!

  • can u do a brushabilities on the real techniques brushes

  • AWESOME review. Thank you so much!! :) I think I've finally made up my mind to go out and purchase some ecotools!! Hahaha.

  • you are SO pretty!

  • have you tried washing or cleaning it? How was it if then

  • Also, does anyone know if the finishing kabuki brush would be a good 1) powder brush OR 2) stippling brush?

  • What brushes/brush sets from ecotools should I get if I want one for setting powder and maybe tinted moisturizer?

  • great review!

  • Good review--very helpful. Thanks.

  • Superb review, I have watched this several times. Hwr, I really love the angled brush as it really helps in creating a thin liner on my upper lid. I have the mineral brush set and the retractable kabuki brush. Love them all, they will replace my MAC Xmas brush set. While Ecotools retractable kabuki far surpasses the T Leclerc retractable big powder brush, (in terms of build and softness), overall the T Leclerc brushes are slightly softer than the Ecotools mineral brushes. I have the Elizabeth A

  • Great brush reviews!

  • first off yr so pretty, second ima canadian chic too,so its great to know that i can get these cheaper and third off im actually a makeup newbie lol! so let me say Thank you for this review, it was great I actually got the blush brush last week and loved it its super soft and does the job so now i'll be picking up some of the brushes u mentioned. again great review and thanks :)

  • SUBBED. :) <3

  • I have to say I think I left a comment for this review before but you did such a wonderful job I had to comment again. This is by far one of the best youtube makeup brush reviews I have ever seen. WORK THIS GIRL LOVED IT LOL!

  • These brushes look amazing. I am going out today and getting them. Great review! Thanks = )

  • WOW. Your REAALLLY pretty!

  • COULD YOU PLEASE DO A REVIEW ON THE FOUNDATION BRUSH :D Sorry I wrote in in caps :p

  • I have the full size concealer brush and felt the travel-size concealer brush and they are just not comparable! The full size concealer brush is AMAZING. I felt the travel-size one and it felt so thin! With the full size one - since it is a very dense, you can "stipple" your concealer on and it can give such an amazing result.

I definitely recommend the full size concealer brush 100%, I don't know how people stand to use such thin concealer brushes!

  • PERFECT review!

  • i have powder brush ahah...

  • An amazingly well done review - extensive, fair and well-informed. I really like Ecotools and now I must try their blush brush! I love your makeup here too, well donel!! : )

  • I have the Mineral Brushes from Ecotools that I got last week, and I'm in love with them! <3 My favorite brush is actually the Baby Kabuki because, for me, it blends in my liquid foundation really well, and it looks pretty. (:

  • hav u ever used frauleing38 brushes or makeup? if so a review maybe? hehe

here in england they sell these brushes everywehre, stand alone department stores, superdrug, boots, etc i see them everywhere, i might try them! xx

  • @trannystar no I haven't--- I haven't even heard of them! I live in Canada, so probably not available here :P

  • @beautynewbie YAY CANADA!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @trannystar I've heard of and used frauleing38 brushes, they're really cheap and they're OKAY, but they could be a lot better, they shed and they're very rough, but they're okay, especially for the price :)

  • @yipyipitsme123 Yes ive got a set of fraulein and hardly use it only cost me like 9.99 or something for 25 brushes which is good and u get ones u dont get in other cheap normal makeup brush sets but they do shred alot... the synthetic hair ones are good i like using them but the squirrel hair which i thinkl they are the red haired brushes are awful i gave ine away to my sister to use haha xx

  • OMG this is such a GOOD review, thanks holly!

  • Excellent review!!! I just subscribed and look forward to more quality videos :) I love ecotools as well- I have all the brushes you mentioned!

  • Just found your channel and love it! Hope you will check mine out also!

  • This is the best review for these brushes I've seen a++++++ thank you!

  • I have the eco-tools blending brush, but like you, use it to place highlight and/or colour on my lids and I LOVE IT! beats so many other brushes i have and i feel like im doing something for the earth! also, they're not expensive, especially when you compare them to mac!!!! Love the review, wish all reviews were this in depth and clear! :)

    xoxoxox

  • I love eco-tools I have Mac brushes, and other high brand but I perfer my eco-tools brushes...makes me feel all earthy and such, like I'm helping the planet. I love them and your review was really good!

  • i love your in depth review. you make me wanna go out and buy all of them. and ive wanted to for awhile since i first heard of them. but your review just makes them that much more needed in my collection. hopefully i can get them soon:) awesome review! it helped a lot!!:) love your vids and your sooo pretty!

  • I have ECO tools too! I love it, all except that eyebrow brush, I've never had to use it

  • You look lovely, Holly! I've seen many talk about EcoTools brushes for a minute, but I've enjoyed your in depth review on them. I was already going to get them, but you've given me more insight on which ones are the "good buy". Thank you for this review and please keep them coming!

  • i love love love your nose. <3

  • I love the powder brush for blush! but the blender brush seems to just pull away all my eyeshadows- you know what I mean? I know you said it's you favorite, but I just don't see it! help?

  • @cherrygirl016 everyone has different faves- there could be a different factor like what kind of shadow, or eye shape-- all kinds of things! I'll do a tutorial using it soon, and you can see how I use it :)

  • thank you for answering that is so nice of you .specially knowing that you are a busy woman and you get alot of questions. thanks again :)

  • i have those brushes!!! i LOVEEE them!!

  • I LOVE THEM AND THEYRE SO CHEAP TOO

  • I hope this question isnt asked yet, but which nailpolishcolor are you wearing? Love it ! <3

  • @UnexMademoiselle it's China Glaze Skate Night :)

  • You seriously have the prettiest eyes I have ever seen! So jealous:)

  • you look amazing in this video!!! tutorial maybe? :) anyways, love ya :):):)

  • this is honestly one of the best reviews of any product(s) i have ever seen! it was so good! a lot of these brushes look amazing. the kabuki especially! you were so informative on all of the brushes and great with the like, dislikes, "eh"s of each of them. that teeny shade brush made me laugh tho. lol

and, your eyebrows look AMAZING here. how do you shape them? do you use a stencil? follow a picture? or just tweeze? i love them and think they'd fit my face really well.

  • @MsBinkies I usually pluck them, and then pencil in-- sometimes using an eyeshadow over (like I'll add a red eyeshadow over to get a tiny tint of red to go better with my hair)... I just tweeze em' lol :)

  • You look BEAUTIFUL!

  • can you review the alicia silverstone one? it has the duo fiber brush

  • @mosuco97 I tried to get a hold of it, but they didn't have it available... :( I'm sorry I was just as bummed!

  • i love your eyes in this vid

hhmmm idk why but something seems different about you in this video

  • @nettischannel she bought them from drugstore. com

  • Your makeup is gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • oh i love ecotools too :) i have the mini eyeshadow brush kit, it's so awesome! :D

  • I live in Nova Scotia and these are hard to find. Where did you buy your's?

  • @mileycyrushater45 @nettischannel she bought them from drugstore. com

  • You look STUNNING!!!

  • i love ecotools brushes too, that bronzer brush is one of my favourites and I am thrilled that they improved the eyeshadow brush, it used to suck before. ;)

  • You look stunning! Tutorial, please!

  • for some reason i did not like the eye shadow brushes ...dunno y but i have the rest of the collection i also have the retractable kabukiii looove it

  • hey miss beauty.. love the brushes i have the one of the kits and the blush brush is the best to me.. i actually bought another of the blush brushes.. I love it soooo much is not even funny.. :)) Im gonna try the bronzin brush .. by any chance do you have the mac 182? if so let me know is it soft like the eco tools one? I saw you have the elf one u have . how soft is that one?

  • @MSMAKEUPDREAM Ecotools are softer than ANY MAC brush

  • @MSMAKEUPDREAM the ELF ones are pretty soft, but ecotools are still softer-- especially the two toned fiber ones.

  • How did you get such tan glowy skin?!

  • @Victorian9322 I think it's the lighting, and possibly the hair color... I didn't get a tan or anything :P

  • I bought the mineral brush set from Walmart. I use the case for storing my small hair clips and bands. Overall, I am satisfied with the brushes my only complaint would be that it takes forever to dry ( and I think because of this it smells a little). When I first bought the set, I washed the brushes along with my other natural bristle brushes. My natural bristles brushes were dry in a couple of hours, whereas the eco brushes took about two and a half days to dry!

  • I really like these brushes I own almost all of them, the only thing is that I wish they actually didn't come with the cases they're not all practically and seem like a waste, I use the blending brush as my highlight brush too lol I think they all work great but you have to switch their purposes around lol ;)

  • @makeuptemptations agh practical not practically, my own typos kill me lol.

  • Great review!! I always pass those brushes up when i'm in the store. I'm going to actually take a look at them now lol

  • I've been using eco-tools brushes on clients for some time. Like you said they are very multifunctional and so soft on the skin. Many people are sensitive to the roughness of animal hair brushes, including me. I find these much more pleasant to work with. I use the blush brush for foundation too!!! It's great! I tend to buy the individually wrapped ones, I bought the five piece long handled ones and returned them as they were too synthetic feeling to me minus the blush brush.

  • i love these brushes <3

  • These are the only brushes I use. I love them. I haven't been able to find the bronzer brush in any stores though. </3

  • Thanks for the website I'm def. ordering from there.

  • I love these brush too!!!

    Theyre so soft and ecologic!!

  • in my opinion you would be beautiful with your own colour of hair, wich i suppose could be a light brown from your eyebrows..with this red look you look so vampy..and by watching your videos you are on a lower and nicer profile (in a good way)!

  • @cuuuppycake hmmm... but that's only ONE side you see of me... muhhahahaha

  • I only have one eco tools brush, the angled liner one, I LOVE it!! Really good quality. I want more :)

  • i ordered eco tools a few days ago its like a face set or something & i'm still waiting for themmmmmm (:

  • I just bought the bamboo 6 piece eyebrush set and i love it too!

  • Great video! I've been eyeing these for a while but wasn't sure how they would work. But now I know! Thanks!!

  • I only need to get the second brush set with the mini kabuki and bronzer brush. I like using these brushes, my only other brushes are ELF and crownbrushes and won't be buying anymore until they go.

  • You look gorgeous and radiant in this video. Thank you for this review. I was on the fence about purchasing these brushes due to they are a drugstore brand and didnt know if they would be worth ordering them online and the shipping, I am happy that they are a cruelty free company and I really appreciate how you explained how u use them and a non bias review. Love from Germany.

  • Great review! I have the retractable kabuki and the bronzer brush and I love them both!!

  • aww the brushes look awesome, but the P&P is three times the price of the brushes to get them to the UK :(

  • @jsutkissmyfrog you can buy them in superdrug :)

  • great review , you look really pretty :o)

  • Whats foiling??

  • @AiricaLush1 it's when you apply an eyeshadow wet :)

  • @AiricaLush1 lol crazy i didn't know that meaning lol and i do it all th time lol.

  • Your hair looks GREAT on this video - so shiny and vibrant!

    Great review too!!!

  • thanks for reviewing the Eyes set....I have been looking at this set and put it on my wishlist for the Holiday. I am starting out with makeup, and I just want to get a set that is cheaper and versatile. I seen this set in stores, but I have no idea if it worth the money. It is not that expensive so I think I might save money for it, considering that $5 can pay for 5 Elf $1 brushes, but this has more quality so I can add a few more dollar to pay for these.

  • Excellent excellent excellent review, thank you very much for this video, one of the very best reviews I've seen on youtube in a long long time!!

  • I absolutely love the blender brush from the mineral kit, one of my all-time favourites. I use it everyday! Thanks for this review. Ecotools is the best!

  • thank you :) I really want them now ^^

  • I have some of the eco-tools, I didn't like the blush brush (too big, but I want to find another use for it. I tried as a foundation brush...didn't like it.) but they are SUPER soft!

Also, did you get partnered? I see decorative hearts up by your name? :P And did you re-do your hair a different red shade? It looks more burgundy-esque now, looks awesome whatever did or did not happen. haha

  • @MsAnnDee I've been partnered for some time, I just got around to making a little video banner.... my hair has just faded, I'm going to be doing it again soon because my roots are growing out.

  • lovely! very in depth :)

    btw, love the banner !

  • I love EcoTools. Their travel eye brush set were the first brushes I ever owned.

  • Great review thank you so much for the information i use eco tools brushes for all of my make up even mac and i think that they are better than mac brushes and much cheaper too!)) btw u r very pretty))
