Wow funny we must be flat iron twins because we both have/had that same piece of shit conair infinit flat iro & Revlon Iron b4! N to think I thought it was just me....that damn thing always used to tug and snag my hair and im natural with hair down my back and that damn thing NEVER got my hair straight like I like it! Now the Revlon I had back in 2006/2007 when I was relaxed and I liked it okay but nothing compared to my Jilbere Titanium Iron I have now def a keeper

hey, i noticed that with my ultra chi's plates do sorta bounce as well, but i also noticed that if u press down on just one of them with your hand they move side to side... is that bad? does yours do that as well?

CHI is awesome!!!! mine is green!!! i love it! i have really thick, and curly hair and i had a 15 dollar straightner then I got the chi and i payed 150 on sale. so if you are getting a chi look for sales! and i think Ulta is the best place to get one!!! \

my roommate has one and i use it all the time. i have really thick and wavy hair and it takes no time at all.

It is very much worth the price when I got my hair cut for the first time in along time haha I bought the Chi Flat Iron it was in Hot Pink it was a special edition or somthing but i just got it cause it was pink lol but anyways i have very thick super curly super frizzy hair and when i use the Chi it makes my hair sooooooo smooth i love it it is toatlly worth the price i think => i hope this helps

My friend has the turbo chi and I like hers as much as mine but my hair dresser just uses the original chi. I just got the ultra chi because it has the tourmaline and ceramic plates, which is better for your hair.

I was wondering, does the regular Chi irons have floating plates too? Because I have the regular chi, and when you press the plate, it moves downward. And if you look closly, you see this extra black section, and it goes down, when you push it down. Is that like the floating plates from the ultra chi?

I've been through 2 CHI irons, they get shortages QUICK, even my friend have been through a few, they work pretty good though but they're not for me, they get entirely too hot on my hair because you cannot change the temp so now I have a Conair Infiniti Flat Iron & it works fine for me...
