I just not want to live anymore. I was severely depressed before watching this. The world is not getting any better. If the world was a better place, people wouldn't be depressed to the point of suicide and animals wouldn't be treated like this.
I don't think we can win the battle of forcing all humans to quit eating meat and using animals, but maybe we can win the battle on the quality of life these animals get to live before we use them as food, etc.
@amnfox True. Animals need to be on farms, eating grass, rolling around in the mud, and being fed actual food. Not being pumped with growth hormones until they can't walk, or being ripped away from their babies.
OMG!!!! I grew up on a farm but it was nothing like what is being shown here. Our chickens roamed free and were only in the coop at night for their own safety(which they went to on their own at dusk) and the pigs and cows were free to go between the barn and their pastures...I grew up with a great respect and love of animals....This is the saddest, most evil thing I have ever seen...
I will admit, I eat meat, but from now on I will only eat meat occasionally. BTW, Dont come out with replies like "Your a monster!!! You eat meat!!!" Cuz lets face it, Most of the world's population are carnivores and at least I'm improving on my intake which will hopefully save a few animals lives. :3

I knew some smartass would jump outta the blue... When I said most of the world's population are carnivores I meant most of the world eats meat. Also, meat provides vital suppliments of protein that most fruits and vegetables can't substitute and the protein pills are plain nasty. Also, if I'm brutally honest, I couldn't care less where the meat comes from. As long as I know the meat is clean and safe to eat I will happily consume it. A lot of this footage is very old. I've seen a lot of it in prior PETA videos etc. Some of it has a very 'staged' look to it too. Not to dispute the 'message' of the video, but some of it does appear to be a bit.. fake.
Humans are just lowly humans. They do not care about the animals. Since humans are also animals, if there is no animal rights in the first place, should there be human rights? This shows that human rights should have been abolished or animal rights should have been set up in the first place...

Yea I find it hard watching this documentary as well. I've been a vegetarian for 11 months and just recently became a vegan. This documentary is a must watch for everyone that cares about animals. I'm so shocked at the lack of empathy people have for these animals.

Animals eat other animals out in the wild and they recieve their nutrients from raw meat and fresh blood, and animals being killed have lived a free life and died instateniously, and not suffered a slow death...

I fucking hate our species. A lion killing an animal is natural and humane, and they NEED the meat. The way we do is not, and we don't even need meat or dairy products.

A lot of this footage is very old. I've seen a lot of it in prior PETA videos etc. Some of it has a very 'staged' look to it too. Not to dispute the 'message' of the video, but some of it does appear to be a bit.. fake.

This is my 3rd attempt at watching this doco. I keep having to pause it and take a break to wipe away tears and work up the courage to press play again. This is by far the hardest thing I've ever had to watch, but I feel that I must.

Yea I find it hard watching this documentary as well. I've been a vegetarian for 11 months and just recently became a vegan. This documentary is a must watch for everyone that cares about animals. I'm so shocked at the lack of empathy people have for these animals.

HUMANS like these and anyone who supports this type of industry are doing a harm to those animals and themselves by eating their remains after they have been injected with antibiotics, steroids, then when you purchase this meat you cook it, n by doing so you are killing over 50% of nutrients (proteins) or whats left of them, and by ingesting this, your body's pH level becomes acidic(in which any pathogen can grow), your GI tract is working overtime, you are consuming LDL (bad) cholesterol..

@Nanis264 Where in the bible can you find such a reference. It took until the gospels when god no longer required animal sacrifices. And even after that we still did it. As it stands, from what I read in genesis, I can clearly read that man was to rule over the animals (Gen 1:26). If you can find me some other place that tells us not to rule over the animals, I would be glad to look it up. But for now, you're projecting your own morality to the 'god' figure, not that which was 'written'.

And besides, according to genesis, while we were still sinless beings, we were given the order to rule over the animals by the christian god. That isn't really a historical context because even after we became sinful, we still ruled over the animals. Your point isn't applicable to the garden of eden history. This doesn't change the biblical reality that god commanded animal sacrifices even when he didn't need to kill them.

@Droohie I love those that use the "cute" argument. Everybody must decide where they draw the line. Many vegans choose not to use honey. Some vegans do use honey. The question is one of suffering. It is scientific fact that the animals in the video suffer. Some can argue if bees do or do not. Also, most do not realize this, bees make 2 types of hives. One for honey, one for raising more bees. Fact is, few to no bees are killed for honey, but millions of animals are killed for other "foods".
