Hey Chris... look man... this is your opinion ..... i 'm just wondering if your fans will buy it just cause you say so... i use a apple keyboard and a logitech mouse suites me well..... besides its want you can afford or like OK cool.. and another thing Chris why are you using a Microsoft keyboard when you talk shit about them sounds like your a hypocrite .that's my OPINION
haha - no way i am also a touch typist so no way i would not get that keyboard, how ever i will buy a good MS Keyboard and Mouse, probably wireless, just so long as its using the standard keyboard setup i am happy :p
[ split softdrink on my Logitech Ultra-Flat LOL, its dead now RIP
Recently I got an Logitech Wireless Revolutionary Mouse/Charger & It's my 1st Wireless Mouse & I'm impressed with it! The battery charge lasts for agees! Well I do turn the Mouse off when I'm finished with it suppose thats why heh, and a whileback I got the Logitech Webcam and im chuffed with that so um I love Logitech heh I might buy one of their Wireless keyboards next who knows. But I suggest that! The Logitech Revolutionary Mouse!
personally i think the mac keyboard is annoying as hell becouse the @ button is no good if you live in UK becouse ours is near the enter THERE IS NO UK VERSION... and its all written in italics which is anooying too just my opinion...
What I mean by that exactly, is that its meant for a Media Center Home Entertainment Center. To watch movies and such, so yes... its made to be used across a room.
I'm using the Logitech G11 keyboard. It is corded. Watching my parents get frustrated over wireless made me feel it's not worth it. Keyboard has backlight keys, that can be turned off. It also has 18 keys on the side so I could program macros or set up application buttons, like Web, or Calculator. It has 3 setting buttons, you could create 54 fuctions for the 18 keys.
The best thing it has is a gaming switch. This is great because it disables the windows key when in gaming mode.
I personaly don't think that the keyboard is a big deal. As long as it can type, and has all of the keys in the same place. I am still using a wired mouse and keyboard and i find it has a better response than a wireless set.
There's certainly not enough there to make me drop my current keyboard for this one. There's only so much useful functionality in a keyboard. Most of what I see here would be useless to me. I currently use the Enermax Aurora (silver) Aluminum keyboard and Microsoft Wireless laser mouse 8000.
It'd just be nice to not deal with a cord. My keyboard cord annoys me all the time; constantly getting in my way.
I like to set the keyboard on my lap, put my feet up and type from the side. I have a wide desk, and I often shift my monitor and keyboard to deal with incoming and outgoing messes. For somebody who doesn't use their keyboard in a consistent appropriate fashion, a cordless is a godsend.
I think you got a pretty cool keyboard and mouse which is well design. You just have to get used to the new key combination. You will be fine after a few days.
Hi Chris, I've been using the Logitech EX110 cordless keyboard and mouse for a about 3 days now and the software with no problems so far. I don't think I would've needed to install the software as they seemed to work just fine, but I did anyway just to be on the safe side. The only problem I ran into was it says you can use USB or PS/2 ports, I tried the USB, the keyboard worked fine, but the mouse wouldn't, so I went back to PS/2 for both.
I have a Logitec desktop as well as a camera. The camera is great, but like you said Logitec software is pretty bad. I remedied that problem for they keyboard+mouse by not installing any software.
It's getting old, though. It's just about time to buy a new mouse+keyboard.
it seems like the Windows key being underneath the keyboard would be a good thing. Looking at the setup of my keyboard, which has the Windows key all the way to the left, I have to move my elbow all the way to the left and twist my hand to press Windows L. That hasn't bugged my until now. It seems like the new Windows key location makes it easier.
Hmm, another microshaft design flaw? I use a Dell bluetooth keyboard and a logitech mx revolution. Both are perfect in my opinion. The logitech software is just fine for me...
On Mac the logitech software don't seam to any thing, on windows i just don't install it, i just install the drivers and handle set set up with windows.
I have one of the new apple keyboards. i love it. Even on windows its awesome. low profile keys, lets me type fast. had a Microsoft keyboard and mouse before this, wireless, like the 1st generation of wireless. gotta say, i love this apple keyboard better, even though its wired. at least i don't have to change batteries. also, i love the USB 2.0 ports on the sides.
It is amazing how bad keyboard designs often are. The makers of keyboards need to have them designed by designers not by people working in the marketing department.
Then the designers are not very good! How can they design things for people without checking how people use them? It is more likely that the designs that get chosen, by marketing, are the ones that "look good" rather than work well.
i use the logitech mx 3200 keyboard and mouse its rather nice i like it a lot better then any keyboard and mouse ive ever had and ive had a lot includeing mico soft lol
The Logitech Control Center on mac os x is horrid! It uses something called APE (Application Enhancer) witch is bad as it gets on software development. APE is considered to be a crime against nature.

I use a Saitek Cyborg keyboard. It is nice. Lights up different colors and stuff.
My mouse is just a standard, very basic Logitech mouse. Nothing special about it but it works fine and its comfortable.
