  • @Discofreestyle Ofcourse you can once iTunes or your computer detects dfu then you can do it on any itunes computer. This is common sense, I don't get how you went from a clean restore to removing a logic board, the reason the uploader is telling you to purchase a logic board ($250) is obviously earn money. Just tryna help you mate

  • @PowerbookMedic I can't replace my current 06.15.00 BB chip on my 3GS for my old iPhone 3G chip, right?

  • @mauridaherg - Nope.

  • What's the name of the first song?

  • hi i need a new logic board do you know how i can buy one for cheap for a 3gs 16gb

  • @DarylAllanCraven - They are available from our website. We usually sell out as soon as we get them in, but we do get them in rather frequently.

  • Hi,

I bought an jailbroken iphone 3GS 16gb (i'm on O2 prepay) but the 4 digit passcode the guy texted me is wrong, and i didn't realise until it locked itself. I'm trying to get a refund but he won't get back to my texts now and it seems they are impossible to restore/bypass passcode unless i have the computer it was synced to originally.

If i don't get my money back can you fix it with a new logic board? It seems like the only possible way i could ever use this phone, or is it useless? :(

  • @Discofreestyle - A replacement logic board would fix the issue.

  • @Discofreestyle put in DFU mode then restore with itunes

  • @itsMastaN not without the passcode, but thanks

  • @Discofreestyle Dumbass... Put it into dfu mode and plug it into your computer.

  • @Discofreestyle Or pm me and I will fix this up for your for cheap instead of spending $250 for nothing lol

  • @Discofreestyle did you tried dfu restore?

  • Hi,

I have an iPhone 3G that blew up because I bought a cheap crappy iPhone charger on eBay. :@ I want to sue the seller sooo bad ! :@ There were sparks flying when I plugged in the wall charger & my iPhone blew up & now is dead. I bought a new OEM charging port but it didn't work. New battery didn't work. I'm assuming it's the motherboard that's been blown up too & is dead now. Is there any way I can fix it ? Or is it damaged beyond repair ? Thanks ! :)

  • @GODLOVEEESYOU - The unit will need to be professionally diagnosed, but probably will need the logic board replaced. We have logic boards available on our website. You can also call us for more info at 1-866-726-3342, option 1.

  • @PowerbookMedic Oh ok thank you. I knew it was the motherboard ! Is it possible to repair it even though it has blown up ? It looks normal but I'm sure inside it's broken. A motherboard is very expensive.

  • Hi, my phone is stuck in DFU mode, will removing the logic board help?

  • @AbbeyIncorporated - Removing the logic board won't do anything. Replacing the logic board would fix the issue however.

  • what is that piece at 2:22 ?

  • hello, i have a iphone 3g white 16gb and was wondering if i could upgrade it to a 3gs 32gb can you tell me how that would be great thanks .

  • @amin4570 - You can by replacing the logic board, but at that point you're better off getting a new phone.

  • @PowerbookMedic ,thanks do you know where i could buy one of these logic boards ?

  • @amin4570 - We occasionally have them on our site. eBay is a good option as well.

  • This is great but where can I actually BUY a logic board for an iPhone 3G S?

  • The midboard should be the same. The parts are standardized.

  • hey, is the structure of 3GS mainboards identical all around the world? i opened up my mainboard and toshiba nand drive seems to be smaller than the photo shown on the net. i live in australia and the iphone 16gb 3gs is 2months old.

  • Yes, you could replace your logic board with a 16GB one to upgrade it.

  • Hi, I have a 8Gb iphone 3G and i was wondering if i could upgrade the memory by buying a 16Gb iphone 3G logic board and replacing it so it will have 16GB is that possible?

  • I wonder why the iPhones are labled inside but the iPod Touch's aren't

  • Similar, but not the same. Check out our other video for the 3G model.

  • Is this the same for the 3G Model?

  • No, you can't swap the flash cards.

  • hey from what you've seen is there any way to swap the flash cards into another iPhone 3GS?

my logic board got fried and i don't want to send it in while it's jailbroken, and swapping the cards then restoring it seems to be the only way since my iphone won't even turn on
