PHIL HUGHES IS AWESOME & THE YANKS DON'T GIVE HIM A CHANCE. IT'S UNFORTUNATE HE GOT HURT, BUT DAMN IT GIVE THE KID A CHANCE TO PROVE HIMSELF!!! SAME THING WITH IAN KENNEDY! YOU YANKEES NEED TO LOOSEN UP A LITTLE! I'm a diehard as it is, but i mean come on man, it's ridiculous. I bet I can have other Yankee fans agree with me.

im a yank fan, but hughes needs control.he cant use his break. ball all that often, cause in anahiem, with the bases loaded, he used the bre. ball, and the batter UNLOADED the bases with a double. i like that he strikes out lots of people, but he walks a lot of guys too. i will keep an eye on him when he faces the mariners

totally overrated his era is over 5.00, he is the next yankee bust along with matt drews, wade taylor, jeff johnson, brandon clausson, sam miletello, mark hutton, randy keisler, alex gramman, sean henn, tyler clippard, hideki irabu, eric duncan, juan rivera, austin jackson, brandon weedon, drew henson, jackson melian and the list goes on and on!

His FIP and xFIP are almost a run and a half lower than his ERA, he's only giving up a little over 7 hits per 9, his k/9 is around 8.4 and his WHIP is around 1.22. All without even close to his best command or having gotten his good stuff back.

Even if he wasn't in reality performing better than his ERA, he's still a 21 year old rookie coming off a major leg issues mid-season. Show some f'ing patience.
